I am so upset about Uniek and Reisy- cried all day yesterday. Too embarrassed to tell my husband when he asked what’s wrong. So he took me for a nice dinner and after a couple drinks Iblurted it out crying in the restaurant. But he remembers the whole story about the adoption too. Even moved him a bit. Funny how animals and people thousands of miles away we’ve never met can move us.

I can’t watch that video yet. I was stunned and cried when I saw the announcement about Queen Uniek. But new life is there with Blomke!

I don’t think I have ever heard Yvonne so flabergasted. How nice that Saly had such an easy birth. Blomke is very precious. Risey looks good!! He has so much personnality. I think it is a great tribute to Uniek to call her foal after her.

Ah ha, I had been worried that something had happened to Saly’s foal, because Yvonne had posted a message “Did you know Saly was in foal?” along with a picture of Saly with a tiny foal, (by comparison to Belle) named Blomke. and, i was so surprised and then confused, because Saly already had a foal , Wunder, the wonder boy, and i watched her chase after him all summer. and No, Saly did not appear to be “in foal” the way Coralle was obviously in foal. What a total surprise! So I excitedly watched & waited for more pictures and news about Blomke, but there was no fiurther mention of Saly and Blomke. until today Yay!! Congratulations, Yvonne and Saly ,& Stal H.! Blomke is just precious, and perfectly formed and Oh, so velvet black and shiny. Of course there was so much more going on with Risey & the birth of Belle and then Uniek’s passing. it was surprising to me in another way. Although i have been watching the channel since Uniek adopted little orphan Risey, It had not “sunk in” to my brain (face-palm) , that it is the way of horses to nurse a foal to weaning at the same time being pregnant with a new foal ... Really it is ‘double duty” for the Mare, her body provides nourishment for 2 foals at the same time. Horse mothers are truly strong & and miraculous creatures!! .i understand that human mothers must have been doing the same thing since Eve. My Doctor told me that it used to be mothers would breast feed a child until they were 18 months old or older. and many women would have a baby every year. All I know is my own experience. I was breast feeding my baby when I became pregnant and I lost my milk.and had to bottle feed him. They say women are the weaker sex, but i believe the famale of the species is the strongest. Stal H has 3 lovely daughters ;Yfke, Belle Uniek, and Blomke ❤❤❤ IDK when the herd began to add Uniek to Belle’s name- Belle Uniek , i think it is perfect. Beauty of Uniek.. Everytime we say her name, we remember Uniek. ❤ PS oops, i was not paying attenton, I watched video again and see it is Yvonne who changed Belles’ name to Belle Uniek. ❤

Risey’s having such a great day! It’s fun seeing him all spunky and full of life.

Saly says "Look Ma, I did it all by myself!" The sheer bliss in your voice & beautiful eyes brought so much joy to us. Blomke is quite fantastic; just like Saly & Wunder. Prince Risey is more joy to behold. He does seem improved & is stunning. Risey is much more comfortable with running….. his confidence is back! He is much improved, thanks to Yvonne’s care.

Belle Alexia was a pretty name. Belle Uniek is the PERFECT name! Brilliant change. And how gorgeous is Yvonne's new "Flower" just added to the Stal H bouquet. What a great surprise.Goed zo Saly, not only another beautiful bouncing baby, but she shed the afterbirth without vet assistance . Dear Saly, blink your eyes and she foals! Independent as they come! Saly seems to be nudging the little one towards her udders. I'm not sure if you call them udders in horses, or teats? Or what? Blomke fan stal Horjus is beautiful! Like Wunder. You truly go through many emotions with horses, from the absolutely ecstatic elevation, to the deepest of grief and loss. I always love to see your boys on Uniek. She is always so careful and patient with littles on board. And Risey looks so stunningly handsome. He seems very happy and more stable. Hope for still more improvement for him.

Since it was exactly one year ago when Golden Lady Trio arrived to Stal H, Saly deside arrange a Big Surprise for Yvonne. New born foal right when she comes to feed us in the morning! YAY👏🏻🥰! And it really worked. So nice to see and hear Yvonne being totally like what when how with joyful laughter😂. Belle Uniek is perfect name. Great tribute to sweet and loved Queen👑Uniek. She´s gone to the pastures of heaven, but surely not forgotten💖. And I´m so happy that Risey is doing better little by little. It´s great that Yvonne didn´t give up with him but decided to fight against all odds! It has been worth it👍🏻🥰!

Wow! This video is filled with so many joyful moments! It's great to see Yvonne so surprised. Blomke is full of energy and I can't wait to see her cantering in the arena. Saly is a wonderful mem and I'm very happy that she had an easy delivery. I'm delighted to hear that Yvonne was able to change Belle's name to Belle Uniek. It will be exciting to watch her grow up. Seeing Yvonne's lovely sons posing on Queen Uniek for pictures was so cute. Rising Star is the official greeter of Stal H, but for now he has to watch Blomke from afar. He looks so happy being in the arena. I heard Yvonne say that Queen Uniek, Reinje and Saly settled in at Stal H one year ago on this day. Another milestone to celebrate! In my opinion Yvonne I am happy that you didn’t put Risey down. He looks so happy and seems to my untrained eye seems to being doing well. Love Saly’s new baby! What an awesome surprise! How fabulous, I can totally feel your excitement in your expression Yvonne! She must’ve dropped easily, she’s incredibly frisky for just being birthed. And curious, looking through the open slats in the gate, hitting all the marks in record time 🥰‼️ I’m fascinated by all the hair on her muzzle, not sure I’ve noted that in previous newborns? How blessed you are by such wonderful mares, Saly is really quite exceptional. And Risey is really looking good, his movements may not be what you’d expect from his breed, but reminds me of quarter horse movement. Blomke/Flower is so cute and she has a lovely name, Saly did a fantastic job. I think it is wonderful that you were able to change Belle to Belle Uniek, it is a very fitting tribute to her mem Queen Uniek. Risey is looking good and is happy which is great to see.

I saw Flower and immediately thought of Bambi's little skunk friend named Flower in the film... guess I'm dating myself.

What a lovely surprise! Blomka came a little early and it looks like she came out ready to go! Just the cutest. I giggled the entire time I watched her. I giggled watching Risey too. His curiosity for Blomke. Most of all, the way he was moving so happy and I do think he’s moving better. 😊 Thank you Yvonne for sharing your life with us. ❤

Blomke is such a sweetheart. She reminds me so much of Yfke. What a beautiful filly. And I balled my eyes out when I read about Queen Uniek. I think doing a name change to Belle Uniek is absolutely wonderful and what a tribute to her mum “QU”. So much love and admiration to Coralle for being such an amazing surrogate mum and for helping continue QU legacy. I don’t know why I’m still crying about the loss of QU. I never met her personally but she holds a special place in my heart and so does Risey. I still can’t thank Yvonne, her family and all those amazing women who help post and monitor this site. I can’t go a day without watching videos. Watching these videos is so therapeutic and I will forever follow the herd. 💜💜💜
