Now, don't get me wrong he has to learn to control his emotions but 7 years of losing, no veteran leadership, or organizational stability I imagine most people would be pissed too. They Pelicans robbed the kings and it is pretty clear that management has no idea what they are doing. What an awful place to be in if you are a fan of the team

(Seriously, you know those trades with Isaiah Thomas leaving the Kings and how they got someone like Georgios Papagiannis (who at best was considered a late-first round pick for a select few teams) at Pick 13 in last year's draft? Phoenix was the main culprit there between them giving Alex Oriakhi and a trade exception for Isaiah Thomas and then swindling Pick 8 in last year's draft from Sacramento for what should have been otherwise a decent trade for both sides become nightmarish (for Sacramento, at least) by comparison.)

More heartbreaking was 2003 when the Kings had a better and deeper team with a better defense. Unfortunately, Chris Webber tore his lateral meniscus in his knee against the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of that series and it all went downhill from there.

You’re not wrong about Cousins, but my temper would be 1000 times what it is now if I played for the Kings.

@@shaneburke9034 The lakers were better the other year but not in 2002, Kings were ahead 3-2 and game 6 was fixed. If there was no league assistance kings would be 2002 champs. Lakers got 27 fts in the 4th quarter alone in phantom calls including a Kobe elbow to bibby's nose that went on the kings.It was a one point game at that point after the refs were doing everything for the lakers

Luke Walton is not bringing the team to its next step of making an 8 seed playoffs, yet they have the pieces to in Fox, Bogdan, Bagley, Richaun Holmes, Hield, and Harrison Barnes even. Their playoff drought can be considered over, because play ins can be considered sort of a playoff, but that’s only because of luck. Otherwise their breakout year is 2022.

Add the Milwaukee Bucks to the list of teams who beat the Sacramento Kings to the punch for an NBA title. How did the Bucks do it? Giannis and company turned off the distractions like the referees and kept playing basketball to win including a Game 7 against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets in Round 2 en route to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1974 and their first NBA title since 1971.

And probably one of the most pure teams along with the 2019 Raptors to win a title in the 21st century. No superteam bullshit but both franchises built from the ground up with a big trade to give them their missing piece to put it all together. Not to mention superstars worth rooting for and players that almost every NBA fan wants to see get a ring. Bucks fans have plenty to be proud of. They have a team that can say is a champion again. If they win this year as well, I won’t even be mad. Well worth it.
