The Sabonis’ Legacy: The Rise of Domantas Sabonis

Спорт

Domantas Sabonis has been a regular double-double machine. He is an excellent passer for his size, has led the league in rebounds, and is a decent shooter - able to score from both inside and outside. Sabonis is a perfect fit for the Kings since he is a passing big guy who can run on in a fast-paced offense.
The Sabonis story is one of talent, perseverance, and overcoming challenges. Arvydas, the legend shrouded in potential, and Domantas, carving his own path to greatness. It's a reminder that legacies are passed down, but each generation writes its own chapter.

Love seeing it as a kings fan :) domas seems to either be ignored or hated by lots of fanbases and watching him play for my city every night makes me happy. He’s really good, almost averaging a triple double this year. Love Domas and having him on my team!

Not only great big man and passer, Arvydas was only beginning his NBA journey at early thirties when majority of men over 7in ending their career due to injuries, it's almost impossible to be competitive at this age with that huge body of theirs, but he not inly stayed, but continue to be great all the way to 40s through injuries. Euroleague MVP at 39, that's insane. What's even more surprising is Domas reaching similar heights despite all this legacy pressure. Good for them

Could not ask for a better teammate. All this guy does is get better. Thank you Mr Sabonis for coming to the Kings and then re-signing with the kings

Arvis had more talent, but in a effort and work Domas is putting in he might achieve more. Arvydas is a legend in his country and Domantas is on his way to become worldwide legendary

Great tribute to the father and son, whom I have great respect for. I believe Domantas will surpass his father in accolades, but his dad made that Blazers team. He was so fun to watch as well.

It would be epic if Kings would somehow trade him to Blazers and he would somehow manage to win Rings with them ending up retiring Number 11 with names on the jersey Arvydas and Domantas Sabonis legacy 🫣👌✌️🤞

he's a top 5 teammate ever .. he can do it all and makes his teams better if he wanted to he could easily get 30 a night and still be top 10 in field goal percentage.. I e seen him play over a dozen times and he never disappoints I'd put him at number 4 in the MVP race if not higher take him off tge kings and tgere a 30 and 52 team

It's looking like he'll never get the credit he deserves. For whatever reason he's not anyone's "Golden Child" like the press or the league. I'm interested to see what heights he'll reach but I suspect we won't completely understand and appreciate him until his career is over.

Its hard to be a son of a legend, when everybody looks at you, but see your father. I think there is no son of any legend in basketball history that was so close to his father as Domas is to Arvydas. If he only could get his dad's height, wingspan and shooting ability... That would be reincarnation, coz all other aspects of their game are pretty close.
