Vanilla Tweaks has a resource pack for "Unobtrusive Enchantment Glints" Bdubs! This may help the color from the armor still come through. I know you tend to stick to Vanilla gameplay and not use texture packs but thought this was a small enough tweak to Vanilla it may still be worth looking into.

The alternate enchantment gleam via Vanilla Tweaks might also work well. It preserves a much truer color under the enchantment. Netherite looks gorgeous under it.

Enchantment glint was clearly made for diamond armor/tools, where it's not as noticeable. It looks silly on basically everything else.

I think his point was that it doesn't make sense to use a resource pack that only he can see. I'd be different if they made it a server-required resource pack, but presumably that involves some sort of Hermit-wide consensus.

Most of the time they don't see the destruction, but in Season 8 they stayed long enough for the world to start tearing itself apart as the dark force entered it. Now Grian is(unwittingly?) making a rift to the past corrupted worlds that will start allowing the dark force in or pieces of corrupted world from past seasons.

I'm so happy that most hermits this season care more about the experience and bartering instead of just diamonds. Makes for more interactions and better collabs!

So far the season is the greatest.

I adore how Bdubs talks to the camera. It's like its a show and he has a cameraman following him around. It makes the interactions with the audience so much better! Most people just do F5, but this subtle change makes the camera talking sections much more enjoyable. Love your videos Bdubs!

The armour stand work is cool! It's a lot of clicking to get it right, and it really shows Cleo's skills with how she does it! Your interiors are always cool, seeing your perspective from the Tango Trial is hilarious XD

B-Dubs and Cleo are still my favorite hermit pair of all time. Ever since Third Life, I can't get enough of them together.

Bdubs constantly inspires me to get better and better at interiors and I love when the other Hermits ask him for his skills. It seems like an uncommon specialty and Bdubs is very good.

Bdubs is an inspiration to us all. I've tried things I never considered doing like using random leaf block inside (amazingly it works), using a bee hive (the craftable one) as a bread bin, surrounding a lantern with signs as a light with a lamp shade. I've had lots of fun pushing myself and even trying new block pallets and it's all thanks to bdubs

Yeah, there are a lot of great builder hermits but they all have unique specialities; interiors and 'small' builds (Bdubs), modern (Keralis), landscaping/naturalistic and science fiction (Scar), etc. that makes everyone's content feel really unique, without a clear 'Hermitcraft house-style'.

BDubs, you could put display armor on the armor stands with no enchantments, and then put the enchanted armor in a barrel under the stands or something. Just a suggestion.

These ruins all over the world are going to be so fun for all the hermits. I’m so excited to see more

bddubs you can easily change the glint to be less intrusive with the vanilla tweaks resources pack !

You don't have to worry about the seed. People already stalked the seed out of doc going up on the nether roof.

Bdubs and Cleo together always puts a smile on my face. Their chaotic energies go together so well

maybe selling clues in a caravan could be an incentive to continue making these monuments. It also encourages hermits getting to them faster if someone buys them.

Bdubs: I have everything I need! me: his veil and doily pants This is what I wait for weekly, Bdubs' incoherent noises... (leather dyeing was hilarious) the beautiful builds and interiors! I would love to see you go end raiding with someone (and maybe build something there too for the adventure dungeon)

The dungeons concept is the best idea for hermitcraft this season.

11:16: I literally LoL’d. ~~~~~ An enchanted turtle shell is a really pretty green. In Bedrock, there are some dyes/colors that look awesome when enchanted. I think. (Months ago, I made a clothing store, w/ mannequins…and yet, my mind is blank.) ~~~~~ 14:14 BDubs needs to see the easy trial Tango gave Gem and protest.😅

This episode was hilarious, but man that wouldve been amazing if Cleo tried to explain the armor stand book to Bdubs. xD always love seeing them collab since Last Life.

best part is with zombie cleo, when she has the redstone in her basement. he cuts the video and it was blown up in the next shot and they don’t even mention it. handling business like professionals. i love it

I really like the interior of the shop it's so cool! The way you used the space.

I really recommend the VanillaTweaks alternate enchantment glint. It just makes the enchant so much nicer looking. Same with the "Classic" netherite armour so it looks like the rest of the armour. It really makes things feel a bit more mellow and less intense.

It's cool what you do with the camera angles! Looking forward to watching whichever hermits find the parkour puzzle!

Hey Bdubs ! Just leaving this here about the construction of the mini-dungeon : I really enjoy your building process and explanations, and I know I'm not alone in this, so how about a separate mini series of dungeon building, that gets published after discovery ?

Just coming over from Tango's stream, really excellent work on the parkour challenge BDubs!!! Watching Tango struggle was really a joy and you really nailed the balance between puzzles and parkour and between easy and hair-pulling jumps. The whole thing felt really polished and thought out.

Hello BDubs, the other day I won with a perfect score in a kahoot my calculus class was playing, and it immediately made me think of you. I want to thank you for being such a good, tall role model of perfection and tallness, and for inspiring us to be more perfect like you!

It feels so good that bdubs return back to timelapsing his builds instead of doing it offcam.

11:25 maybe the suits of armour could be more recognisable if they were made of diamond (blue), iron/netherite (gray) and gold (yellow). The gold also suits the nether, since there's fire and puglins to be aware of. But I don't know how long it would last for

Gold would probably be better for blast protection. If you wore gold in the nether, you'd be taking damage constantly and never have enough chance to repair it, even with unbreaking and mending. Plus I think yellow matches the hazmat eod kinda theme really well

I really loved hearing you talk through your process of interior decorating a bit!!! Your little gems of knowledge are part of why I love your videos!!!

I'd say you could modify the terrain a bit to make it harder for people to chase down the seed, like remove those pumpkins, maybe add a few oak trees, and such, they won't find it as easily because things don't "match up"

I've been wanting to build dungeons on a multi-player sever for the past 2 years. Seeing Bdubs doing it now, makes me want to do it myself even more.

I really am loving the change up in editing for this season and its been really fun to watch so far!

One of the best things about watching bdubs is how inspired I get to work on my own creative projects, be they in Minecraft or otherwise

I love Bdubs losing the camera around 19 mins in. It really adds to the style he's filming in. Idk it just made me smile

Loved the vid Bdubs and hi from Skizz'z stream today!! One option with the leather armors could be make the center one be standing on a barrel that holds the actual enchanted armor and just have unenchanted stuff on the stands.

I love seeing your process Bdubs, I've been watching since 2011 and I became an architect in this time. It's really inspiring.

Mumbo - I'm gonna be the richest hermit this season! This season - yea, diamonds aren't really valuable anymore

Another idea for one of your adventures! What about a place with two mob spawners nearby and they drop enemies into a room where the player has to stand on a pressure pad for 60 seconds or something in order to move on to the next place. I built something like that in a test world a few months back for a similar idea to what you have.

Your videos are such an experience from start to finish! I have rewatched all of them several times and I always notice some new awesome thing. Can't wait to get back into this one, and looking forward to the hermits finding your fungeons!

Another perfect show! The idea of finding a ruined castle challenge out on the wild fills me with so much excitement!

I absolutely love the parkour ruins, I truly hope we see these sorts of builds all over like maybe there’s one high up on a mountain peak where you need an elytra to complete it, or Deep in an ocean where there’s little pockets of air to help you navigate a maze, or even way below ground where maybe there’s gravel traps waiting to cave in on the explorers. Makes the world totally worth exploring.

You can use an alternate glint texture pack on vanilla tweaks to make it easier to see the different colours of armour

BDubs, have you thought about just requiring that they bring you a map with the banners marked on it so you don't have to replace the banners each time? Love your content!

I'd put Impulse up there as one of the nicest hermits on the server. I think it'd go JoeHills, Impulse, then maybe Pearl or Tango. Just based on how much they help out others.

I am really enjoying the camera work bdubs is doing. Instead of the usual f5 to address the audience, the static camera allowing him to nod and look around for effect? Great move

Having Caught the live tour of impulses new interior on Impulse’stwitch channel, I really appreciate the subtle change in “dialogue” to make this video flow better! Such a subtle detail but it really shows the care put into editing. Great job! ❤️

In straight up single player or smaller low-key servers it's perhaps not quite as useful, but rewarding with custom "perks" (cards, IOUs, decked out keys, etc) makes a ton of sense on a server like this that's basically haemorrhaging totems, emeralds, and wither skulls (and probably only a matter of time before all the chest monsters are shulker based as well 😅).

there should be a cloud 9 shop. every item thats meant for elytras. enchanmnets, fireworks, book of mending, elytras of course, and XP bottle booth to stand in to mend your elytra....or anything else thats mending related.

I watched Tangos stream today BDubs and I must say watching him go through it was incredible; so very thought out!... I loved those wheelbarrows you made!!!... seeing a lot of the hermits commenting and messing with Tango was wonderful. A fantastic build getting to see Tango stumble/jump/fall throughout. I don't think you expected the power of Marios hat to help Tango on his way XD

I'm glad Bdubs got the wings but my man, here's a top secret pro minecrafter tip: Flying straight into the ceiling doesnt deal kinetic energy so you could have just flown into the ceiling, dropped just enough to shoot a rocket, and repeated until you used up all the rockets

The parkour thing reminds me so much of one of the jumping puzzles in Guild Wars 2.

Bdubs using the camera mod to get up close and personal with the screen is the most in character thing I've ever seen.

I dont think I ever get tired of watchin Mr Bdubs messing bout and having fun in MC.

Definitely consider doing like an underwater monument thing! Maybe you put the clue inside the drained ocean monument, and then you have parkour sections mixed with underwater Redstone sections where you have to solve puzzles before you run out of air!
