The Rock Is Losing Thousands Of Fans Per Hour. Why?
Ойын-сауық
The Rock's reputation has taken a bit of a beating recently. There was the poorly received Joe Rogan podcast, the controversial Maui fundraiser, and his appearance in the WWE's most disliked video. As a result, for the first time ever, The Rock has begun to lose followers. Why?
This is, The Rock Is Losing Thousands Of Fans Per Hour. Why?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised that he just forgot that he ate at In-And-Out, it’s a pretty mediocre fast food franchise and the amount of work and content in Dwayne’s day-to-day life is overwhelming. Advertisements, acting, endorsements, bodybuilding; 5 years of that would definitely be more than enough to make him forget about a random fast food restaurant he ate at 5 years ago.

the rock vs the dementia BEGIN
I met The Rock two years ago while he was shooting Shark Week, and let's just say his public persona is nothing like his one with fans. He's really kind and caring to them (as he was to me). He clearly loves making his fans happy, so I'm positive all of the negativity comes from this: Once your a big star, you've pretty much sold your soul away for being famous. Dwayne Johnson comes from a father, who was a big wrestler (that wrestler being Rocky Johnson). He followed in his father's footsteps (as some sons will do [what I plan on doing]), and became a certified movie star in 2001. Since then, he's been a popular name with a ton of people, which means a ton of deals come in, and the pressure is on. However, that doesn't mean everything is good. You have to be a spokesperson essentially at the same time, hence we have really terrible adverts, forced pressure, and set opinions. It's not a good look, and a lot of people go through that, which is unfortunate. I can confirm that, in real life, Dwayne is a down to earth and kind human being that cares a whole lot about his fans, but the dark side of Hollywood that manipulates everyone in certain ways gets to them, and turns them into a product.

Dwayne suffers from main character syndrome
After Dwayne left WWE full time 20+ years ago, he has done many things that have rubbed me the wrong way and straight up pissed me off. When Cody Rhodes was shoved aside by Dwayne to headline Wrestlemania instead, that sent the resentment for everything he did outside of WWE to new heights because now he was screwing with the story I WANTED TO SEE and didn't want to see Rock make a storyline twist that made ZERO sense. His "Final Boss" character ended up being amazing, but how we got there was astronomically tone deaf on his part.
I suspect The Rock's overconfidence comes from the fact that he hasn't had a good ass kickin' from from Stone Cold Steve Austin in many years.

We're talking Clooney, Damon, Pitt, Roberts, everybody in the movie PLUS other A B, and C listers just wandering around. And there was The Rock, humble and quiet and standing off to the side with his first wife--they looked about as star struck as I was. People who play one type of character concern me. They're not acting whatsoever, they're literally unable to act so they get cast in roles that fit their actual personality. Jim Carrey has range. He can make you cry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), he can make you laugh (most of his work, really) and he can make you think (The Truman Show). He is a REAL actor. People like Rock here who don't have that range simply "act" as the character they already know. I think you're right though. "The Rock" was his wrestling persona, right? It's only natural he'd want to stick to that cuz he's comfortable. I mean, really, in his position I would be doing my own thing, streaming warzone 18 hours a day, sitting in a 1 or 2 bedroom house just kickin back and enjoying my life.
