This is heaven sent. I’ve been in this “procrastination slump” for the past 2 years since I had a bad experience at a horrible company. Now it’s also affecting my home life. You are the best Mel Robbins!

It is so true. I have been stressed ALL my life, until within the last year I got rid of all the narcissists, and it did not matter who it was. I got rid of family members, friends, and foes. The peace struck me as strange, until I started to meditate. Thanks Mel. Can you visit my church?

Mel. Thankyou I listened. And just did it Plugged into The matrix. Lol. 54321 finished paying my parking ticket. Breatheee. Just do it. Done. Yes. Sent blessings with my money to the city 🤟🏻😍🤟🏽. Then I completed my chores. Three hrs. Phone calls scans. Now can do my nails no guilt. Quit shoulding on myself. Now time to put aside on paper let it go. Burn it release and forgive. Time to forgive me first. Ground. Forgiveness ritual and gratitude. Gratitude. And back to thank you. ❤

THANK YOU! But I don't think it's always because of pressure we put on ourselves (self-employed or similar?). Most of us answer to others, and that's the major source of stress, other than things like health, money, and other real, genuine factors. Employers who have astonishing demands are not the same thing as paralysis from your own perfectionism. It's a demoralizing, normal way of being and it's quite real, not something self-imposed.

I suffer from this every day. Being a 71yr.old woman, who can do everything myself, but because of not being to concentrate, I can not do paperwork. It takes me days to go through my junk mail, and bills. It’s easy for me to clean and organize my home, and keep Doctors appointments, but my paperwork piles up😔it makes me sad. My Doctor asked me if I would like a “Caregiver?”

Me too. Apparently it’s part of Lyme. I learn by watching and doing the computer Pppwk triggers me. I’ve learned to push thru and better organize so the clutter is going. I think my brain is rebelling from so many years of working it so hard. I learn better now with binaural beats for few minutes.

Do you think that having ADHD also has something to do with procrastination? Always beat myself up for things I didn't do or things I should be doing.

This has been the “catch all” diagnosis in 2023. Lots of ads and courses to buy to help you with your ADHD. Reminds me, when the restless leg syndrome came out, and everyone thought they had it and then there was a drug for it. For me, at least I would like to have a professional diagnosis if I do have ADHD but till then I know what my work ethic has been in the past I just need to get my butt in gear. Having Mel Robert’s advice does puts into perspective, what I’ve been feeling and how I can take care of it.

Having ADHD does have tendencies to sabotage yourself plans, ideas, and also, with relationships! Negative self thoughts, and unforgiveness!
