Whoa! I've watched athletics for years & I've known who Valerie Adams is since like 2011/12 & seen her compete a few times. Now, I don't watch the NBA that much but I've also known Steven Adams since probably 2015 but at no point did it ever occur to me that the two were siblings. That's a pretty interesting fact but now, in hindsight it probably makes sense since they're pretty good at their respective sports & are true physical specimens. This was a great video all round btw. Great work man.

You need a little history, Polynesian didn't have an "obesity gene". A lot of their weight problems com from military occupation during WWII, replacing their natural diets of fish/fruit/hearty greens/starchy roots with rice, candy, and canned meat

It was a deliberate strategy though. The Thunder team knew that getting Russell the ball quickly after the rebound was a priority, and Adams is great at boxing out. Add to it that Russell is a great rebounding guard and that development comes naturally. Consider if Adams was fighting Russell over a rebound, and then Adams get it, and then gives it to Russell - the only thing that would do is slow down the team's tempo, costing them transition opportunities. Team strategy, team play, team success - THAT is what Adams is about.
