Everyone talking about how strong he is but no one is talking about his athleticism, he is probably one of the most athletic centers I have ever seen.

Athleticism is size, speed, explosivity, jumping ability, lateral quickness/change of direction and stamina. And except strenght, Adams has nothing really amazing, Wilt, Shaq, Giannis, Dwight howard, Embiid, Blake Grffin, Deandre Jordan, Artis Gilmore, Kareem and many more non famous center were more athletic, Adams isn’t more athletic than AD, Ibaka or Gobert, im sure even Drummond is stronger than him. With non black players we tend to overate their qualities because there isnt a lot of them and most of them are role players, so you have everyone talking about adams strenght like he is fucking Shaq, bro the guy is 265pounds, Zion, Howard, Embiid, Boban are all heavier than him, at least prime Dwight. And im sure players like Lebron, Khawi, Giannis ect are more powerful because power = mass x acceleration, and Lebron or Giannis are both around 250pounds with an acceleration like Westbrook, that’s why they are unstoppable in transition, its not the weight, not the strenght, its the combination of weight, size and speed.

@@Anthonydu01630 he’s literally more athletic than half the people on your list. Also, AD, giannis, Blake and ibaka are all power forwards. The only four players that have a case are shaq, dj, wilt and artis. Because no way in hell Kareem was more athletic than adams. Adams was faster had a higher vert etc. but Kareem is a superior scorer. Also he’s more athletic than Drummond. He’s much faster and has a higher vert.

Hands down one of my favorite players. Not the ultra-flashy 50 pt a game player, but so solid, and just seems like a great dude.
His hustle is Godlike for a guy that size. And he doesn’t give up on the possession.
He is one of the smartest and coolheaded center I have ever seen

His stats might not show it, but Steven Adams is probably the best all around center in the league. He’s a jack of all trades, mater of most on the court, has an extremely high basketball IQ and court awareness, stands at nearly 7 feet tall and harnesses the strength of aqua man while also being a great teammate and the most humbled guy in the league. Dudes got all the features you would want to see in a center.
He is like a freight train, once he is in motion you can’t stop him.
People always forget this guy when having GOAT convos.
