dont agree the reason WNBA is relevant is because of CC. The actual jealousy is the reason. That's not the problem, or at least not the MAIN problem. Plenty of men hate Caitlin too. Plenty of male sports media figures throw shade at Caitlin constantly. Arenas and SAS, for starters. Keyshawn. Perkins. And others who share a certain similarity. All the same people who throw hate at Luka and Jokic constantly. So, are we seeing any other patterns here besides women trying to tear each other down? Because I see a TON of WNBA players all banding together against Caitlin. So there goes that theory. I think we can do better, Mark.

Nope. Those aren't the problems, those are byproducts of the problem. If a talent gap is the issue, then why isn't every other elite WNBA player getting hate from all the players who aren't as good as them? How come a lot of the sports media is hating on Caitlin also? Are THEY jealous that Caitlin can do things that they can't do? Because in that case they should be hating on every single male and female athlete of every sport. Dancing around the REAL issue isn't helping. Gaps in talent are ubiquitous in sports, and in life. That isn't an explanation for the Caitlin hate. I know you know the real reason they hate her. Caitlin's competitors love to taunt her about the fact that she's never won a championship. Could that be the real reason why they don't want her on the Olympic team? Let's face it, the USA team would be heavily favored to win the gold, even if Clark were added to the team and riding the bench. But if they won as expected, as a member of the team, she would get a gold medal too and would have "Olympic Champion" added to her resume. EVEN IF THEY NEVER LET HER PLAY A SINGLE MINUTE. Personally, I'm convinced that they hate her far too much to allow that to happen and the only way that they could prevent it was to keep her off the team altogether.

I agree. I have been seeing on avg 3.5 of her turnovers per game are from girls not catching passes. Fever is good for about 6 missed open layup per game (2 assists of those to clark). Their schedule started brutally with many games all against best teams. It's leveled off now and they are winning. Their D has gotten better but still not good. Rebounding needs to be better and I'm not happy with coaching. Talent level of Fever compared to top 4 teams is a big gap. Definitely need to improve on player talent & probably more experienced HC to turn it around to try and win a chip. Clark needs to make better decisions with the ball, which she will at some point & get more comfortable so game slows down then her shot will fall more. She needs to take the off season a study her D. She takes bad angles, gives up on plays on D sometimes, work on better positioning & anticipation of reading players & plays. She needs to see the whole court on D as she does on O. With her IQ she should be getting way more steals. Bird was not super athletic, fast or could jump but he was quick, anticipated & read players like a book that's why he was always in top 5-10 in NBA in steals & made all D-teams. He played 3 steps ahead of everyone else. Clark should be able to do this too.

Unfortunately, Caitlin Clark will always encounter haters. Great players always do. Is it Caitlin Clark’s fault that she is an outstanding player? No. She had to work hard 😓 in the gym to become a great athlete. You can love 💕 her or hate her, but Caitlin Clark is literally helping the WNBA to survive and to be profitable and successful so some of these ungrateful women won’t have to beg the NBA for more money 💰 and finally be financially independent, but you can’t tell these entitled women anything.

Im a Swoopes fan, but everything she said was a lie. She broke the record playing fewer games, only averaged 20 shot attempts a game, and was not close to 25yrs old playing against 20yr olds.
