The Real Reason Why Hollywood Stopped Casting Mike Myers

Ойын-сауық

Mike Myers rose to prominence as a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 1989 to 1995. He became a comedic film star when he wrote and starred in the classic comedy Wayne’s World.
Myers reached the height of his popularity and talent when he starred as multiple characters in the highly quotable spy action-comedy Austin Powers. Both Wayne’s World and Austin Powers have left lasting legacies to pop culture.
So, why has Mike Myers disappeared from the big and small screens? Here’s the real reason why Hollywood stopped casting Mike Myers.

Barack Smith exactly 😂acting is just a profession. A potentially lucrative one but a profession nonetheless. When you have all the money to last you and your children several life times, why do you need to continue working anymore? Most successful actors only continue to work because they really enjoy what they do, not because they NEED to. I'm not a major fan of his work, but fair play to him bowing out when he was able to. I really can't blame him.

Myers pushed the boundaries as a comic genius but also knew of its dangers. Passionate intensity can go into berserk-rhetoric and wacko-land. He needed space from crazy making and try to find solid, safe place to feel grounded. His fatherhood provided him with the unconditional love and devotion he had need of.

I love these headlines "the real reason why.." and then insert something about pop culture that no one has noticed or have been talking about. Like a large population have been looking up false information about why they haven't seen a celebrity in a movie in a few years. Thanks for providing us all with the real reasons of pop culture mysteries that we have been exhaustively trying to decipher what information is true and what is false.

It was full of originality and I didn't stop laughing or admiring every scene. I needed a hit of Myers and glad to find it. It's one of those few times the ratings on iMDB and Rotten are way way out. Normally you can put it to a change in culture / the times / silly audience/critics... but his stuff is timeless and high originality/quality. I don't get it. Maybe it is the 'masses'? if so - sad times! I get why there is time between his work - because it's rich and hyper full of originality woven together.. so I guess he empties his tickle box of ideas... then has to fill it up? I need more Mike Myers, more often. He makes life better.
