A part of how metro is so immersed is because these are all real locations with the post apocalyptic setting which looks just how you would imagine it to be that makes it feel even more real.

The game locations are not quite similar to real Moscow. But gives the feel of how Moscow might look after Apocalypse, can tell as a native Muscowite, many details give the realistic look of Moscow ruined in 2010s. Not now, many things look now different.

It's realistic because all what's shown in metro actually happens on every Russian bazar ;d it's totally like feeling at home... that's the "based" of RU why you wrote "conflict" and not "war started by russia? :D stating obvious, but at least working against their propaganda XD

I like the atmosphere of the video, but you have some mistakes here and there when you talk about the history. There was a February revolution first which changed a Monarchy to Ministry Republic and only after that, in October, there was a Socialist Revolution. The old government was not happy with it and started a Civil War against Bolsheviks. In the same time, previous allies from the war become enemies to a new Russia and started an intervention, which helped "Ministry Republic" government a lot in the war, but they lost anyway. There was a plan to divide a country into some kind of colonies to get resources from it as a payment for their help. Lots of people died because of the previous First World War, people died because of the poverty and hunger that war created, because Russia was not ready for the war. After that, lots of people died because of Civil War and the poverty and hunger it created, also don't forget, that those years had big problems cause of bad harvest, also the richest farmers "kulaks" were not happy with all that stuff and tried to undermine the work of Bolsheviks and the harvests in the villages. Also, Russia in Imperial years was not really doing something with modernizing the farmers' equipment, the only people, who had ability to buy modern farmer equipment were "kulaks". Sorry if I bored you with this.

Goodluck with that, although i can't say the same if you're attempting to be as accurate to the real D6. D6 IRL is literally just a set of tunnels from one governmental basement to the other.
