Ok so here's what you do. You screenshot it, right? Go to the store closest to you, (idk if they have these in other countries) some stores have this thing where you connect your phone to a computer (they're called kiosks) via USB, and you can select the photos you want, and the s I z e you want them. I don't really know if you were joking, but I want you to know that you CAN.

I can kind of understand how over time, watching the raw ravioli skid slimily past, the compulsion could develop to eat one, _just_ one, _just_ to see what it's like. To feel the doughy wad slide smoothly down your throat, coating the walls of your esophagus in moist flour residue, and the visceral _plunk_ as it drops into your stomach. The intense excitement of _Did anyone see me?_ , glancing around madly for a hint of awareness in their eyes, but finding none, only the dull stares of your colleagues as they go about their work, not knowing of the gluey secret nestled snugly in your gut. Maybe every employee of the factory goes through it when they start the job, and when each new recruit finally snaps, the others _do_ know. Perhaps they give no hint of their shared dark secret, each thinking themselves alone in their one moment of depraved animal desire - or perhaps the consummation of consumption signals the most senior among them to take your hand and lead you, kindly and firmly, to mark your true entry into the fold, a true Raviolite at last.

As someone who has worked in a factory, they'll just give you extras, like all the time. I worked in a bakery and ended up getting like 40 loaves over three months.of course I guess I paid the price by falling down a flight of stairs on the factory floor but that's besides the point.

Why is botulism a word? It is so specific! I first thought " Oh, this is probably a fancy schmancy word for food poisoning". But NO! It is food poisoning yes, but specifically from canned meats or other preserved foods. Meaning some poor linguist went and got food poisoning several times, one of them being from a badly sealed can of spam or whatever and go "Oh man, this is an entirely different experience." and go spread his new found experience, crowning it botulism. Please note that this comes from someone who's main language named vegetables as "green things".

(In reality it's because the poisoning is caused by a particular bacteria that's commonly found in improperly preserved meats and whatnot called clostridium botulinum, "food poisoning" is the general term whereas "botulism" is a specific illness caused by a specific pathogen)

Fun fact! Botox uses the clostridium botulinum toxin to paralyze your face muscles for abt 3 months to make your skin look tighter and younger. You heard me right, the C. bot TOXIN has a temporary paralysis effect, and people inject that into their faces t appear younger

It's from a specific microbe called the Botulinum. It's incredibly toxic and causes your nerves and muscles to freeze so you can't use your lungs and your heart stops. They use smaller amounts of the toxin on your face for botox.

Rewatching this after working at my latest job is wild because it’s a factory job where we are not allowed to have food on the floor, but my coworker who I at the time was workstation neighbors with was given heated up pork gyoza from her mom. So she just. Snuck me some gyoza one by one across the conveyer belt when no one was looking at us, and in a feverish fit of urgency I shoved them into my mouth whole and gobbled them with an intensity I have rarely experienced. It was an absolute thrill. Ravioli Monster Man, I understand you now on a deeply personal level.

Has anyone told the person that asked this question that, presumably, the raviolis go somewhere else when they leave the line, possibly grocery stores? So if they really want to eat the ravioli they've been packaging they could probably just go out and buy a can, then nobody will care whether you cook it or not, you paid for it, you own it, eat it as you will

TO BE FAIR. The ravioli filling is pre cooked, and raw fresh pasta is pleasantly chewy. I sometimes finish off my tortelloni the next day eating them raw for lunch and they are DELICIOUS. I don't know if I'd survive more than a week in a Ravioli factory without having a bite myself.
