Daemon is "your grace" just as Alicent is "your grace" because they are married to the reigning monarch but Daemon was never addressed as your grace by others, only as Prince Daemon. In that scene, he wanted more respect on his name as Rhaenyra's husband

​@@jvdpc7: Don't get upset when you are wrong. Daemon is King Consort. He being married to the Queen makes him a King by default. You can spin it however you want. It does not change the facts of titles in the show. Corlys son was literally introduced as the King Consort in Season 1 episode 5 when all the major houses gathered to witness the wedding between him and Queen Rhaenyra. Case Closed!

Vhagar has killed many in their attempt to first fly with her. And they had precautions. Aemond did it, alone, with no body to follow, and no saddle to handle. Team Green 💚 earned a powerful ally. We took nothing but the throne. And honestly, after this episode. Thank the gods. Rhaynara rarely has a good plan.

I don't think he didn't appoint anyone bc he was with Alicent, since he did appoint the Night's Watch. I think he just didn't think it necessary for them to have a guard.

The kid at the beginning is not the same one that tried for Rhaenyra's hand (Willem Blackwood, who would be in his thirties by now), but that is his house (Blackwood) and the people they fight are from the same house (Bracken) as the person that Willem dueled and killed for insulting him. They were also mentioned in episode 6 at a small council meeting where they were fighting over land borders.

Cole was not supposed to be guarding Helaena, he was supposed to be guarding Alicent as he is ALICENT'S sworn protector. But it was his fault as head of the kings guards to not give Helaena, the queen, her own sworn protector. Overall the murder was mainly Daemon's fault as the person who hired the murders and Cole's for not making sure to assign Helaena her own sworn protector

@@sproductionsinc I think it’s normal for someone on the Kingsguard to stay with the person they’re guarding, regardless of their position of power changing. Especially if they are fond of them, and Criston obviously does feel that way about Alicent.

Aemond mocked Aegon's bravery on council meeting then Larys said Aemond and his mother want him dead so they can rule together he feels like everyone is against him so he got drunk and meet Aemond so as a revenge he mocked him

At this point in time there were only 3 egons ones dead and the other one is alicents son and one is the qween an daemons son

Someone on twitter said "Aegon works on canine logic. A simple "good boy" would work wonders on him"

As much as I appreciate Rhaenyra's desire to avoid bloodshed, they way she's been acting has been killing me lately. War was guaranteed the moment Aegon had that crown placed on his head. Her trying to "negotiate" a peace deal is just wasting time. Time that could be spent gathering her forces and trying to repair her image.

you miss understood about the dragons the 2 young dragons are 2 of rhyneras younger sons dragons, one is a hatchling that cant fight and the other is also very young and cant be ridden (the eldest one is owned by joffrey and he is only 6) and joffrey will stay at the vale with his dragon which isn't of age to fight, while(owned by one of the youngest of rhynera and daemons kids) and Rhaena (the daughter of deamond and leana who doesn't have a dragon and originally wanted to claim vheagar) will go to pentos with the two youngest children where they can hopefully be safe

People like Gwayne despite the racist and classist attitude. Too bad the writers have done such a bad job incorporating this issue and given people so many reasons to hate Cole character, I will never understand why the show didn't explore Criston Cole's background as a low-born, self-made man overcoming discrimination. He should be a character the audience can identify with in some respects. Yes, hate him too. But Criston's struggle with discrimination and being low-born is only hinted at when Harwin says, “he is the son of a steward,” implying he matters less. Instead, they have made Criston, and sadly Fabien Frankel, a punching bag for the fandom. the writers just want him to be hated and that's it for them.

I cracked up at that realization face too! I agree that with the wheels of war moving there was nothing Alicent could do to stop things and probably admitting the mistake to Rhaenera would only weaken her own resolve.. Annoying, but understandable from her pov. I know a lot of people say it was stupid for Alicent to think of the wrong Aegon when the king last spoke, but aside from not knowing the prophecy, her only frame of reference was his drunken worries to her about choosing Rhaenera over Aegon as heir to set things right all those years ago at the hunt. Anyway I think the end nicely sealed the theme of the whole episode -regardless of what began things, war is now inevitable. Don't think Rhaenera will be holding back, now. Can't wait for next week!

@@YaBoyRockLee Criston told Aegon that he had already appointed the Night’s Watch and Arryk asked Criston why Helaena wasn’t given a guard. Criston probably didn’t appoint her a guard because they’re lacking some guards. So Alicent isn’t responsible for Blood and Cheese at all.

Daenerys dragon eggs were featured in this episode! Daemons scene at harrenhal was probably the best of the episode though, do many layers to it. Condal really is proving how different he is from d&d with that. Thats the kinda stuff i expect to see when the writers take liberties with the source material.

11:54 Rhaena doesnt have a dr!gon. Her egg never hatched. The little dragons (Tyraxes and Stormcloud) belong to Joffrey and Aegon (The Younger). Little Viserys II's egg is one of those that hasn't hatched yet either.

The last scene was stupid and made no sense it changed anything just killed the tension between characters war was already happening and Alicent could stop nothing she has no power Aegon has and he lost his son , the only way war could be stopped if Rhaenyra surrender as Alicent said there was no other option

I think Alicent wanted revenge and took Viyseris words and twisted them to spite Rhynera. Overtime she felt Rhynera didn’t deserve the throne as Alicent felt she endured the responsibility while Rhynera did what she wanted.

Alicent is weak Rhaenys and Rhaenyra are strong

No disrespect to you or your channel , but I have to say I don't understand how you sided with Alicent when she wanted Rhaenyra to surrender to assure peace , but when the truth was told Alicent and you decided it was too late for peace.

Theres not much that can be done by Alicent. Her son Aegon is on the throne. Hes not stepping down. His son was killed. More reason to expect him not to step down. Basically too much damage has been done for Alicent to stop it. She doesn’t have enough power or influence. She has a lot of power but not enough to the people that matter. Such as Aegon the current king. You cant kill my loved one and say my bad this was all understanding…. Rhaneraya should be queen. She is right. AND its too late for Alicent to help her. Both can be true.

And here we go Alicent being trash as always she been trash since she went to go see Viserys the night after his wife and son died in season 1. Alicent knows nothing of the Targaryen lore.

Rhaenys she killed the most people yet she play like she is saint HYPOCRITE

Alicent heard what she wanted to hear the night Viserys died. She wanted the position and just heard the name aegon, and immediately thinks that Viserys wants her son to be the successor. All Visery's life he always said that Rhaenyra is his heir to the throne and defended her every time. Even the morning/hours before he died, he didnt want to take the milk of the poppy so he could have a clear mind, walk to the throne, felt and go through all that pain just to defend luke as the heir to driftmark to further affirm Rhaeinyra's inheritance and then Alicent The Hypocrite thinks Viserys suddenly changes his mind the same night. Alicent thinks her son aegon the rapist is The Prince that was Promised?? Dafuq!

Even though the story about ice and fire was a secret, Alicent named Aegon after a important figure in their history. She told him this as he got his name, armor, crown, and sword so Alicent was an idiot for not realizing that.

The double standards of people i will never understand the hate towards Cole why bcoz he was fu**ing alicent while the kid died but you cannot hate daemon talk about hypocrisy.... The kid was meant to die whether cole was there or not bcoz they were ratcatchers that's just lame excuse.... And in this episode suddenly daemon felt guilty so people feel sympathy for him but he didn't even hesitate to order the kill its just poor and excusable writing and cole also did felt guilty .... I am always team green bcoz daemon is evil and raenera is also selfish bcoz if she didn't want war she could also leave the throne but she is power hungry ... But people love her unlike in GOT where people were calling out DAENERYS for being power hungry and love jon snow because he didn't want the throne!!🤔🤔🤔 Talk about hypocrisy.😏

oh please, criston was a bad commander, arryk pointed it out that criston didnt appoint a sworn protector to helaena she's the queen and a targaryen at that, while alicent had criston (lord commander) as a protector doesnt make sense because shes a queen dowager now, cole is useless. as a black supporter, I agree about daemon, i wish they shouldn't have shown his guilty conscience, I love him as a menace not a softie 😂

One the the best warriors that had existed and Jaime Lannister considers him a great. Only great fighters of his time he has no interaction with is Cregan Stark, Dalton Greyjoy, and Bloody Ben Blackwood, but I still think he could take nonetheless. He trained Aegon II. , Aemond and Daeron, and all turned out as brave and skilled warriors. Thanks to him Aemond became what he is - nuff said. I personally would put him amongst the top 10 Kingsguard fighters of all time, alongside Ryam Redwyne, Gwayne Corbray, Jaime Lannister, Barristan Selmy, Arthur Dayne, Gerold Hightower, Duncan The Tall and Aemon the Dragonknight. During his 1v1 with Hawin Strong, Criston hits the man's shield so hard with his mace that is breaks Harwins arm. He beats daemon in 1 on 1. fair and square and not by attacking him in the back while he's gloating like they did in the SHOW. The show seems determined to get rid of all his achievements. Also did try to challenge all 4/5 of the Black commanders to single combat prior to the Butcher’s Ball to avoid a battle and save his men since they were pretty much surrounded and basically guaranteed to get slaughtered. Imagine a group of commanders shaking in fear and didnt accept and promptly shot him with arrows until he died (and butchered his men anyways), but the fact he was willing to fight all of those men at once showed he was pretty confident in his combat skills.
