It's great because in Ep 3. There's a similar scene to a Nagatoro ep. with Kuze grabbing Alya to go dance akin to Senpai grabbing Nagatoro when she was caught in a line to see the fireworks.

It’s always great to get an MC who actually has a reason to not make a move when an opportunity presents itself. Until he’s ready to reveal their secret, it makes sense for him to play coy and not just be oblivious.

Also If you remember in this episode, before Alya and Yuki joined Masachika and his friends for food they were talking about how Alyas sister rejects all the boys coz she says she has a boyfriend abroad or something. She does not she basically says that coz of masachika....I am not sure as its been a while since ive read but I think she also says that coz she considers masachika her boyfriend from back when they were little. I could be wrong its been long and the fan translations were not so great
