I am not a singer or a song writer so I have not idea what it takes to write a song like this but all I know is that in today's music you cannot find lyrics and melodys like this anymore. When I hear today's music I feel very lucky to had the opportunity to enjoy bands like The Furs, Cure, Depeche Mode, Sundays, Joy Division, The Smiths and many others.

Yes, yes and yes. Inspiration is the missing ingredient, I think, as well as Real Creative writing, which can only be achieved when you think and compose and write in isolation -- ISOLATION -- something the internet does not give us. The brilliant years that gave us these songs are gone, but we can someday get them back again.

This truly classic band is evidence that the 80's were was period of time like no other. There was something for everyone, unlike and most unfortunately the music of today. The Furs epitomized what we were all about, and for a small handful of us, we've been successful at turning our children onto such musical greatness. To have (which I have countless) times in concert, is not only gratifying, but they are humbled by the fans that have faithfully followed them and always greet them after a show. Well done my English Gents...well done.

I feel there was a continuum of such great music at the end of the 1970s with bands like The Clash, Joy Division, Costello through the 80s into the 90s with the greatest era of rock. It was so interesting and fresh. Pop music is such complete junk I almost feel sorry for my teen age nieces and nephew. They've never known what it was like to grow up and be blown away by it. I'm glad I lived through it. I pray for another revolution in rock music.

2017 now. Just saw Furs last night at Union Transfer in Philly; 10/10/2017. It was a Singles tour. Amazing. I'm now 50 years old, have been listening to this band nearly 40 years and finally saw and met them. They are so gracious and always take time to come and chat with the 6 to 15 people who waited to catch a member going from bus to venue and back. There were just 6 of us, calling "please, for a minute to talk with you." "Richard Please when you have a moment." They each took turns coming to us and really talking. Of course there's one overly star struck middle age lady who's energy seemed to put Butler on edge somewhat. I shook this legends hand and he grasped it, looking me directly in the eye; giving all his attention as I told him my mother got me into the Furs when I was 12 or 14. Their music saved my life and helped me and millions of others get by, just a little bit happier. A little more hope. Stuff he's heard countless times before. So after this intimate, (I am not gay - just this empathy in that handshake), very direct, lucid and one of my most unique, positive interactions, I've ever had with a "Star"... and there have been plenty. Anyway, the each stayed talking with us probably 5-10 minutes with just the 5 or 6 of us. God bless the Furs and bands like them who offer hope, a nearness to love and a hell of rock sound that transcends the decades and brings me, a 50 year old self proclaimed old school hardcore punk out to see a very different genre which I love as dearly as any music. I love GBH, DRI and such. In any case, I know I ramble, goodbye for now, ♪♪ ♪

In 91 the music was changing and this song was a 80's song. Great song, great band, but a lot of people had moved on.

I love this song. I labored without drugs and this was the first one I put on when I was trying to get things moving. We were going to induce with our 3rd, but I was already having contractions, so all we did was have my doctor break my water and my husband said I looked desperate as I bounced on my birth ball. Yes, I was terrified of Pitocin, so I was very motivated to cause non-Pitocin contractions. 4.75 hours later, our son was born! :-D
I love the 80's, but this is definitely one of the best songs of the 90's.

She passed away from breast cancer when she was only 40 about 17 years ago, but when I hear the Furs, it's like she is right here with me. I do think there are some good new bands carrying on the tradition, it's just the radio station don't play them. I love Alt music and I have my kids addicted to it as well.

Until she comes again I can hear the things she said I feel no thoughts to move my head Until she comes again And with her step I move my feet And with her hand I feel my skin And with her need I find I'm saved And with her dreams I'm laid Until she comes again The sun goes out and night comes in The time goes round and day grows dim Until she comes again And with her step I move my feet And with her hand I feel my skin And with her need I find I'm saved And with her dreams I'm laid (I can't be saved from my wounds) Until shoe comes (I can't be saved from my wounds) Until shoe comes Until she comes again With all my saving and my sins There's no good reason to begin Until she comes again And with her step I move my feet And with her hand I feel my skin And with her need I find I'm saved And with her dreams I'm laid (I can't be saved from my wounds) Until shoe comes (I can't be saved from my wounds) Until shoe comes Until she comes again With all her dreams tied in her hand There is no "why" to understand Until she comes again Until she comes again The sun goes out and night comes in The time goes round and day grows dim Until she comes again

There was a radio station here in Fresno, CA called 106 KKDJ and when I heard ‘Until She Comes’ for the first time on that FM dial back in 1991, I was taken aback by that lovely tune. Alas, that station no longer exists though the only thing I have left to hold on to are the memories of that station and the wonderful and fantastic music they once played. The music of now is not the same as then. Thank goodness for Alternative music from the United Kingdom.
Watching it in 2015 and it is still a great song.

. . . and here we are into 2018, and music of this magnitude only becomes more rare. I recorded this video in the '80's. . . right off the MTV. lol. They could write back then, and play like no one can in the 21st Century.

Steven Smith, it was number ONE for 2-3 weeks on the Live 105 playlist back in 1991.
Okay. Just listened to this for the first four times ever!! Gonna listen a fifth time in a min. And I wasn't even paying attention on the first listen/view. I was watching "News One Now" at the time and it just seeped into my brain anyway.
Ahhhhhh the year was 91 and I was a freshman in High School, the girls were all wearing 501 Levi's and wearing brick matt lipstick. Man what a decade of great music! If you were cool you would listen to music like this!

Still a masterpiece ! I listen to this over and over again, probably their best
Saw them at the University of Georgia for a free concert in 1983. Loved my time there in the 80's. Didn't realize how good I had it there. If only I could go back in time.

My 2016 song toward icu medical coworker Erin every time i`d hear her voice , hear her giggling laugh ( with nasal inhaling snorts ), see her lane Bryant fashion style , along with Chicago's `Happy man` and simply reds 'stars`,,,one woman meant 3 songs to me.
Almost 30 yrs old and can still stand up tall and proud beside any contemporary rock song.
PF is THE sound of the 80's. We've lost so much. I feel bad for today's youth having to endure today's corporate excrement.

Who could ever forget such an amazing & mesmerizing timeless song.... That will last forever in a time that will never be forgotten....The 80s bought us music that represented the pass, present & future....l will never forget them unforgettable days of growing up listing to incredible songs from the 80s....I really miss them days when music was really good....
just bliss🎶
Under the definition of 'timeless'; this band and their music get a special mention....
If I could only escape from this time back to when I knew who I was, music like this only bridge's memories from the heart to be relived in the mind, but always beckoning me to revisit anytime.....
This song gives me eargasms!! :P
Funny 🤣. I'm in a nursing home awoke at 4.17am listening to the best hit ever. Until she comes again.

This is a good song. Not many know about this album or group
BRITISH 🇬🇧 BEST GROUP BAND EVER GENIUS MASTERPIECE FABULOUS
Ricordi bellissimi, partii proprio in Agosto come oggi. E mi ricordo che intorno a me c'era una persona che "non si decideva mai"... così mi incazzai e partii con i miei amici e fu una vacanza meravigliosa!
This song will problably be at my Too 10 songs of all my life.. And I know millions of good ones..And it still being my favorite Fur's song ever!! Until she comes...
This song is soooo good , the lyrics are so perfect !!!!! They are just perfect !!!! I absolutely love them since the early 80’s !!!!

I love this so much. Musically, visually...this is perfection.
Warm like a long lost friend's hug.

😍Love Love Love this song
Gotta love it, The P-FURS. Even the bad is good?
Saw them in Ponte Vedra in 2018. Brilliant. Richard Butler has more charisma in his index finger than all the bands of the 2000's and 2010's combined. One of the all-time great bands of the 1980s. Can't wait to see them again.
Fantastic twenty year old english classic! I remember being truly moved instantly when I heard it back then in 1991!

Yessssss
masterpiece of a song! when music was still that, music! 80s and 90s, miss u terribly!
One of my all-time favourite songs, I fell in love with its beautiful melody the first time I heard it on MTV Europe in the spring of 1991 and now, decades later, the magic is still there Thank you Psychedelic Furs!
I just want to go back in time to 90's and relive that decade as an adult.
Saw the Furs in Wilmington DE last night. Was surprised not to hear this song. Lots of Mirror Move songs. They still sound great. Will remember last night for a long time.
One of the most beuatiful pop songs ever. Love Richard Butler!

Hi I recommend an Indie song called 'Looking Into The Mirror' By Robert Nix
How can you know who you are until you know who you were?Oh yeah, that brings me back.
At what point of your life you can feel complete ONLY when your couple is with you??? This song is a musical testimony to that feeling of pure freedom that comes from trusting someone so much to depend even your own life without hesitation...for my parents and their 65 years love story, always together, always in love... Miss you so much...can not write anymore...
I saw the Furs several times "back in the day" and they never, EVER, put on a bad show. I agree with the comments here, a criminally underrated band.
