work wont let me have an IDE no matter what way I approach it. so Ill spend my day writting code in note pad between other functions, go home, bring the notepad save over to my personal computer, copy it into an IDE, and compile. *cries eternally*

Actually, the best programming language is called electricity, greater than Assembly, only the best of the best engineers knows it.

The switch from python to c++ describes beginners more accurately than ever that was me lol.... and I had to suffer to switch to c++

I remember back when I learned Python a few years ago in my freshmen year of highschool. And when I joined the programmer group of my school's robotics club. They used java, I can tell you that I had no clue what a lot of stuff in java meant. Like void (which pretty much represents that the function or method doesn't return anything), static (still kinda need to understand what this means), and some other things. But now I recently decided to learn (just the simple basics) of Java, C, C++, C#, Go, and Rust (variable decelerations, data types, loops, comments, functions, classes, etc.). And I guess since I understand the basics of programming, it's easy for me to learn and understand. I guess it's when you're a beginner at programming, it makes it hard. But I guess it's where you have the experience with some programming, is where you understand how things work. I remember how hard it was to understand C++ syntax sometime before I learned Python. I was having a hard time understanding what C++ stuff meant. But from having 3 years of experience with Python. I'll say that I don't regret learning it, because while I'll admit it took me about 2 years to understand how to make a function and method in Python. I at least at some point understood how to make them. Like I finally understand how to make function a year ago. And recently from making a string hasher in Python (it was for a networking lab at school), I finally understood how to make a class in Python. There are some other things in Python classes that I need to learn. But at least I'm starting to be well skilled in Python programming.

I wanted to learn C as my first language, but every time I looked stuff up it reccomended C++ things, so eventually I gave up and went to python

The fact that Python forces indentation as part of its syntax and will refuse to run your code if you don't get it right, is the reason I will never use it. I don't hate on projects that use Python, but... my god...that'd drive me crazy even after programming for over 10 years. So no.
