@@Zeus-wl2pl this is objectively false. While DMT is very powerful and requires immense care and respect, to say *anyone* self administering is asking for trouble is ludicrous. It's a tool. A powerful tool, but a tool. And just like any tool, it can be either beneficial or detrimental depending who uses it. The issue isn't to further burden the medical industry most can't afford anyways, but to learn how we can properly heal ourselves. The middleman isn't necessary, education and regulation is. The most dangerous thing about DMT is its legality and potential to be contaminated or impure, not the effects it causes when used.

I have to tell you a story. I had a hysterectomy back in 2007 and reconstructive surgery for severe pelvic organ prolapse that led to chronic pain and severe depression. I was on the biggest cocktail of medications you can imagine for 15 years. I've never done drugs but when I heard of the potential effects of DMT I decided I would give it a shot. I could never be more thankful. I went from not working and bedridden to moving across the country and building a house by hand, in a matter of 3 months. It gave me a whole new outlook on life. I am no longer on any medications at all although I could still do with some pain medication if it were still available. The CDC decided to basically get rid of that but mentally I couldn't be better. I had one set back when I lost my mom but I did manage to get past it without any help. I am a firm believer that everybody should try DMT at least once. It was a lifesaver for me.

One thing I can say about dmt is, I physically feel amazing during and after the high. It's almost like a full body tens unit. The vibration you feel leaves you feeling so relaxed and pain free. It's an amazing drug that I truly feels would help millions.

My first experience with DMT was at a park and I smoked it sandwiched in weed, back in 2020. I don’t remember everything, but I do remember first I started seeing everything look more kaleidoscopic, the grass, the trees, my skin. The grass began to look like an enormous metropolitan society for the insects. The blades of grass were like buildings. The bark on the tree was cut up like roads and highways and intersections. I closed my eyes and just saw geometric patterns moving. All of a sudden I was in a colorful room looking at the corner and each wall had these windows where the wall would open like a door and I could see out the window. Next thing I knew all the door-type windows on the wall were opening. I remembered I had my eyes closed so I opened them and saw the park. It felt like opening and closing my eyes was like popping in and out of different universes. At some point, I had my eyes open, and my entire vision was outlined and my vision outline was moving further away from me as if my vision was on a TV and I was moving further away from the TV. Everything in the real world was on the TV screen, and everything outside the TV screen was white. I moved back from the screen until I saw myself holding the screen. The moment I saw myself, I just knew I was god in that moment. At the same time I saw from both perspectives, me moving away from the screen and me holding the screen. I started to get pulled away from the screen and everything became white, it felt as though I were trying to pop through something. But something was holding me back from popping through, it was the glasses on my face, the watch on my wrist, the backpack on my back, the chain on my neck, the phone in my pocket, everything I felt physically was holding me back from popping through. I took all of these things off and put them in my backpack, I held onto my backpack strap with one hand and still couldn’t pop through because I wouldn’t let it go. I didn’t want to let go of all my possessions in a park where I didn’t know anyone. I had to make a choice. Let go and pop through and know what’s on the other side, or hold on to what I knew as reality and never know what was on the other side. I chose to let go. I let go of my backpack and let it sit in front of me. I still had my eyes closed, everything was white. Every second I was in that space got me closer to truth, oneness, purity, spirit, but at the same time became more uncomfortable the longer I went without knowing the status of my real life possessions. The longer I went in that space, the deeper I went into my spirit and the closer I became to being god. Sometime later, after coming back and going back a few times, I stopped coming back (aka opening my eyes to the real world), and I became true to myself without any external stuff. In that moment, I felt as though I was my spirit in its purest form and that my spirit was god. Everything was white around me, I saw everything from all angles with no restriction of physical head movement or eye direction, I saw everything and everything was just everything without anything. There was no time, no house, no family, no obligations, no culture, no society, I was in the purest form of what makes up all those things. Something that I can only describe as spirit and god, both of which are symbiotes in this context. Sometime later I came back to the real world and couldn’t go back to that space. Since then, my attitude towards life changed in so many ways and I began making choices I would’ve never made before. That experience really changed my life.

As a “one woman experiment”, magic mushrooms/psilocybin changed my life. It took one trip and I was reminded of what happiness was. That was more than the SSRI I was prescribed (Prozac) had done for me. SSRI’s don’t let you feel ANYTHING. Be it good. Be it bad. At a point I thought I was a sociopath because I felt nothing. That’s when I had my first mushroom trip and was reminded of what happiness feels like. Psilocybin actually changed my life. I do it once a year now, and that’s a hell of a lot better than being on SSRI’s for years. It keeps me humble, it keeps me in check, it lets me know my self worth, it tells me what I’m wrong in, it speaks the unconscious truth. I’m forever thankful for that.

Everyone reacts differently, but I'd suggest trying a higher dose of mushrooms. At high enough doses, it can be like a dmt trip, although you probably won't have to go that far. Also, remember to state your intention before the trip, like "I am looking to break my addiction, and see the beauty of life without it". Basically, maybe try to slightly up the dosage by a gram or 2. Don't for get that it also builds tolerance for around 2 weeks though. I wish you the best and good luck :)

I had tried DMT on several occasions weighing the product judiciously and slowly experiencing its fractal effects and colorful pulsations of bright colors until I threw caution to the wind. Went for it took three immense hits that instantly took me from one reality instantaneously into a complete white out experience (No tunnel no transitioning no aliens) where I was just a small voice crying for help lost in an ocean of unimaginably bright white light. It absolutely terrified me until three days later something internally made sense of it. That losing who I thought I always was showed its undeniable strength in how my reality was constructed. It wasn't the void as much as the loss of self. I am still in awe of the experience and quite affected by it. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who may have had a similar experience.

I had a similar experience, I took breakthrough dose and sub-breakthrough almost daily for about a month one time too much, but where I went it was black all I could see was what looked like a white light wrapped in black spagetti blocking all the light except for tiny sections between the gaps as it moved allowing anything to be visible at all. That did not scare me, what put the fear of hell in me was that I didn't know who, what or where I was and I was there for what felt like an eternity until I started to come down and some fractals slowly came into vision and I remembered I smoked dmt, and instantly knew everything was ok😅

I do believe that my anxiety attacks and anxiety disorder/panic attacks started after I had my first bad trips on LSD and mescaline. I've tripped hundreds of times but 30 years ago having a horrible bad trip is definitely what caused this..I guess maybe it might take a different psychedelic to fix that mess. I've never done DMT And I'm very intrigued and interested in it but I am scared of having a bad trip.. maybe some day. I'm tired of popping pills for anxiety and now I'm more hooked on pills than anything I've ever done..

Being someone who regularly uses psychedelics, DMT is by far my favorite one. LSD would be my second favorite. A lot of people think that these "get you high" but that is not true. With DMT, you don't really feel loopy or anything, you do feel it and sometimes I wouldn't say that it's a "high" it's a very profound state of awareness and you suddenly have the ability to think on such a deep level and understand complex things that you would normally never even begin to understand. LSD was my go to when I was younger. And I firmly believe that it is the reason I have certain traits nowadays. It has been a very beneficial aspect in my life and I am eternally grateful for it.

I used to have LSD as my favourite. Then I took 6 tabs and realised that DMT is a lot better for intense experiences. I remember peaking on 6 tabs and wishing I was on dmt instead but laughing about it and seeing it as a learning experience. Acid gets very confusing at higher doses. I was walking all wobbly, I was off balance, I didn't know what I was thinking or feeling or what I wanted. I think 0.5-4 tabs of acid is best for me. For higher experiences, I definitely prefer dmt. I never lose sight of anything of dmt. I just feel the most sober I've ever been.

What you see on DMT is what is in your subconscious rendered in a high-energy hyperbolic fractal way. It WILL help and it WILL make it easier to access the "heaven realms" of consciousness (which I believe are not external or "other dimensional" but rather, latent potential configurations of the electromagnetic field of your brain, which gives rise to blissful harmonious textures of experience).

  • @JerryLoffelbein

Always glad to see and hear academic research on these substances. It's always interesting to learn of their effects on different segments of the brain as well. Since the research is still in its early-ish days, it'll be interesting to see if some of these substances aren't as effective as others for therapy or other treatments, or if length of experience becomes a factor (LSD's 12-18 hours seems maybe infeasibly long for many administered treatments, but DMT's very short time might not be long enough for some treatments). I'm just glad that research is finally being allowed, albeit restricted, as there seems to be some merit to their ability to help. In this day and age, mental health is more important than ever and I hope these research efforts lead to finding optimal substances, dosage and protocols to be the most effective in treating trauma, unhealthy patterns, addiction and other issues. And if prescribed in the future, their guarantee of a clean source as most, if not all illegal drugs have the potential for accidents or bad actors along the way making them questionably safe.

Yes. I recently did it, for my first time. And i was ushered through the waiting room by Shiva and Siddhartha. Then was birthed into infinity. I saw the sacred Geometry and could navigate infinity. It washed all my childhood traumas and all my pains away. I was everywhere and nowhere. Past present and future. Best experience of my 34 years. 🥹🥹 I was crying tears of joy for days. Just to have a glimpse of what I saw. It would take 1,000 lifetimes just to navigate it all.

I’m a recovering alcoholic, 11 years sober. I don’t do any significantly mind altering substances anymore but when I was young I did a lot of psychedelics, including DMT. They are the only “drugs” I’m glad I did. I feel like they opened me up spiritually and I’ve carried that openness my entire adult life. I’m also glad I stopped doing them when I did. Psychedelics aren’t without risk and a strong trip can be REALLY taxing. I feel like I learned what there was to be shown from them and I am very glad more research is being done on their effects. I’m certain there’s a lot of benefit to humanity from doing so.

It was a life changer for me but I've never suffered a stroke. One thing I will say is it will ease your mind around the thought of dying. I'm not afraid to die. I believe it will be very peaceful as dmt is believed to be the substance responsible for visions during a war death experience.. It really opened me up and made me appreciate life though. I have a newfound appreciation for all living things around me, including plant life and bugs. I guess I can say it basically turned me into a hippy. Lol I believe everyone should try it. We all need to look inside ourselves and make improvements and this is a great place to start.

And i dont mean like these things just became easy to me or something. But like all the unsure feelings and anxiety kinda became a choice. Like i know i feel a certian way. But i know better. And i feel more confident in the knowledge that i have power over how i feel. Feelings just tell me what to pay attention to. Doesnt mean panic. That realization alone has been revolutionary for me. Life although still hard. Its much easier to make beneficial choices for myself and its definitely continuing to pay off a whole year later.

For example low dose or sub psychedelic doses of LSD are said to reduce episodes of chronic headache, so it will be good to see those studies progress.

Every injury is different, I don't want to give false hope. But my wife has had significant improvement from a Traumatic Brain Injury with psychedelics. She suffered constant headaches, dizziness, vertigo, and ringing in her right ear. We started with microdoaing shrooms first. She took .5 grams first, then 1 g, then 2 g, then 3.5 g, then smoked DMT lastly. Each was about a week apart, and one by one all of her symptoms vanished. Only the ringing in her right ear remains, though it has lessened. But even her ear clears up for the 8 minutes she is on DMT now. The pathways are temporarily healed, reformed, etc....IDK. But psychedelics have been nothing short of a miracle for us both. There are things at play here that science may never be able to explain.

I believe that clinical psychologists and psychiatrists should be dosed with a variety of psychedelics during their training. For what? With the help of various types of drugs, it is possible to partially simulate some mental disorders. The future specialist will be able to feel the disease from the inside in a safe environment. This will allow you to better understand your patients, their problems, fears, their vision of the world.

Great video, as a Psychonaught in 2024 I found this video honest and informative to people who do not understand DMT. What I will say is that other psychedelics are better suited to help/cure mental illnesses. I have seen people cured using 4aco and shrooms. It happens and research needs to continue. Dmt should be handled with the upmost care. We know about the other dimensions, the entities and how it ties in with setting and frequency. Dmt when studied might show us….. how our brain use to work…. When we were and advanced ancient civilization …. Thanks great Vid

6:46 Thinking is another modality, too. As well as emotion. Yes? We perceive them as objects in consciousness....Theyre phenomenon./ just like visual or audio or olfactory objects/information.

Yeah. More people should try psychedelics. Not only in a medical environment because in some countries they are illegal. But with the right set and setting they can do wonders.

Psychedelic is the answer to most severe anxiety and depression. The use of magic mushrooms completely helps one get over depression and makes you feel like yourself.

It would be nice if there was more research regarding functionally selective (="biased") ligands for the 5HT receptor family in order to try and discover a new generation of neuropsychiatric drugs, as the data points to psychedelics interacting with these receptors in a different way from serotonin or alternatively having additional targets that have not been identified yet.

I’ve always thought synesthesia was a thing but never understood why. Watched a video where they put people under MRI while tripping and there was no increase in activity just the disconnection of the manager of all department of senses. That’s why we taste what we see touch what we smell etc. did anecdotal experiments on myself with high doses of acid and shrooms individually and in shrooms I could feel as if I was peeing my sweat and my body was just a vessel for my heart. I would cry randomly, laugh randomly, almost throw up, almost pee, almost poop it was insane the amount of free flow of everything. In acid I was mostly in tact but the visuals of the thoughts within my brain would come out visually and over time has always shown me what’s important to have and protect in my life. Being I’ve been down range and have some type of anger issues, it has completely healed me and the way I thought about drugs. I have yet to do dmt but it’s on my list to do. Acid was 300ug and shrooms was 4g. Not to mentions it’s helped me stay in a consistent relationship while removing the urge to be with other women. Trip safe trip hard! ❤
