I knew a woman that was 19 and was to get married to a protestant, she was Catholic. One day in her small town her priest went to her and said, If you leave the CC God will forget about you"! Imagin how she must have felt, should she marry this guy and have God forget about her, or should she break off the engagement? Or was what this priest was saying a lie and if so why would he lie? Is he not a representative of Gods and also of the CC? There is another side to your priests and not at all healthy or Godly.

If all the Catholic priests and nuns were to become extinct tomorrow, good and evil deeds will still go on like usual, just as they had before the Catholic church came into existence, and just as they continued during the centuries when the power of the catholic church was at its apex.

Only after social media became so popular and accessible to everyone, new generations have slowly begun showing their "teeth" and arrogance, and started making confusion, division and discord. The Church..is the Bride Of Christ, and It will always have His protection. However..the people within her, in holy orders and lay throughout history have not always been Christlike in their care of her. Thanks for your help. Nice to talk to a well catechized Catholic.

We are Christians / Catholics , the catholic nuns and priests work / gave up their lives to serve CHRIST JESUS through the people. MOTHER THERESA of Calcutta and her nuns are an example of this. The Catholis church for hundreds of years have been serving society and through their lives / work - good works and prayer for India. I pray for India the land of my birth. We should never judge anyone but we must judge the actions of others, otherwise we would not know how to choose our close friends. As the Bible says, “Bad friends corrupt good morals”.

Priest and nuns are those who introduced what I call civilization in many African societies. So we are grateful for all their hard work especially in education area.

When someone talks smack about priests I may ask them (I know you need to be kind and tactful) if they have ever told a lie or taken a cookie when grandma said no cookies before dinner? Or if they ever said the full "oh my ___" instead of the text OMG abbreviation? If the answer is yes then you're a lying thief and a blasphemer. Which means that you're guilty of sin for which you can be judged according to the commandments. Something to think about...

I believe that priests, preachers and such are and should be held at higher standards. You should not fear your children going to church and school. I know this video isn't about children but it I'm stating what the facts are.

This is happening in mosques, and Buddhist temples as well, all of them are human beings. If anybody can look at the world without lustful feelings he or she becomes a great person. From Srilanka.

True, Jesus came to save the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24. Because of their unbelief we the gentiles were grafted in. I wonder the trauma the priest must have suffered. I've been wrongly accused by no less a personality than my holy wedded wife. It's her lies and the misunderstandings by the congregation that caused me to lose faith in fellowship with brethren who believed her lies and were never available to hear her apologize. Faith in God and his Christ's forgiveness with absolute pursuit of holy living is the basic requirements to see God! The Lord be praised evermore!

No, I do not forget that priests are just as human as I am. That is why I dismiss their claim that they are hand-picked and called by God to the priesthood, that is why I do not kneel down to confess my sins to them because they are just as sinful as, if not more than, I am. That is why I always use critical thinking and evidence to evaluate anything the pope or any of the catholic priests says rather than accept whatever they say at face value because they are just as fallible and trustworthy as any stranger I happen to come across. Life is good as a rational humanist.

In your first comment you sounded like you knew everything about God and the Catholic Church, and even evaluated closely whatever the priests or the Pope said; you knew about sins, to kneel, to confess, etc. yet you justified your position to exempt yourself from what the Church teaches when you realized they were humans and sinners too. Now you justify another position for not believing blaming even the Bible for not teaching about faith, claiming that one doesn't even need faith at all to go to heaven, assuming that heaven exist? Don't you notice you contradict yourself to put into question your self-attributed critical thinking and reasoning?

We as catholics have been taught to pray for priests and nuns because they are also human, like all of us and therefore they get tempted as well,just like us and worse they are lonely and the temptation gets worse. It's so easy to judge if you are not in the situation . Let God be the judge.

Please be reminded a priest is still human, he is still a man, he is still has the capability to sin. It should be our resolve, as the laity, as parishioners, to be mindful of their weaknesses. Give extra understanding towards their dilemma. Very sad that as priests they are always misjudged, charged with crimes they do not commit. Pray for them instead of accusing them.

I love this beautiful story, the priest did everything to save the life of the young girl that suffered heart attack. But the devil used the audience to divert & deprived to be tempted their beliefs. I love all the priests, they are loving & caring people: as what Jesus told them to spread the gospel & love. The priests are the victims of conspiracy & accusations. Rash judgement! So often accompanied by speculation and not facts.

Why would they assume wrong of this priest, if they knew him. Never leave priests alone with anyone, then they are not in position to be accused. My favorite priest enjoyed debating me (he was a Modernist, I am a Traditionalist), but I made certain we were always in public and accompanied by someone else…for his sake. I didn’t want to threaten his character by jealous people. My son was a high school teacher. He always left his door open, because he was always helping a student with a subject, after school. He knew it was dangerous for others to assume.

God work and moral and ppl will always be tested but he encourages joshua only be thow strong in God 🙏

In all fairness the parishioners are spirit filled.

In my town there was a young man who portrayed himself as a Catholic priest but was never ordained , he was a Con man, he begun doing well, but later he was involved sexually with some young man in the church, but it was discovered what he was doing and was spelled out of the church, but he left scars of betrayal to the church parishioners, and many of them left the Church also; his actions led many people to criticize his church and his religion. This only goes to prove us how powerful is the sin of deception that Satan uses to try to destroy the beliefs of many people who love God. That’s one of the reasons why God in the Bible tells us to ask for wisdom and knowledge and understanding, so we can know all the tricks of Satan who only tries to get people to sin and die eternally. Lord Jesus, please help us! ❤

As a Catholic, I really love this story and the vindication of the goodness of this priest. The video, like many others I’ve seen illustrating short stories, brought a collection of photos of priests, some with new faces, shaven, bearded, white haired, old, wrinkled… are all of them supposed to represent the same heroic priest? I would have preferred images of the church - from inside or outside - showing a priest in the shadows or people praying, taken from different angles to fill up the duration of this video. Instead i am staring at different priests and asking, ‘Is this one also supposed to be him?’ Spoilt the whole narrative!

You are addressing the wrong person, since it was not me that created or uploaded this video, therefore I can't answer you about its intentions. I'm reading what you write and what you're making out of it. "A falsification of actual realities" in this case, would only mean that the told story could not have been true at all due to your own personal issues with the Catholic Church in general. So, I'd say, the video was actually good for you, insofar as it teaches not to jumping into conclusions.
