I love how accurate they were historically. from the opening spiel to the dyed hair, the three piece suit and of course the microphone.

Few nitpicks-but still a good show and good idea. -Wrong theme intro. -Wrong camera moves. -The audience had to stay still. -Back wall was incorrect.

When the 50th anniversary comes next fall,if Bob can't make it in person, CBS should do like Dick Clark did when the second version of The $100,000 Pyramid returned in 1991.

travis7310 however, for the opening, they could use the 1972-1976 cue (the opening cue as the first 4 called,) and the come on down cue for each contestant called to contestants row for the first half, the second half could've used the 1976-1979 version of the cue the same way. i really should think that the 70's day eps should go an hour and a half, the first 30 minutes for 1972-1976, then the hour for the first hour long format. it'll have to be done in primetime, unless Let's make a deeal is willing to cut a show short

They should bring back decades week at the start of season 50. I can imagine what it will be like if they play Deluxe Dice Game or Three Strikes Plus on 80's day or $50,000 Plinko on 90's day. Deluxe Dice Game from the 80's had an extra digit beyond its 1970's predecessor for pricier cars and so did the 1980's Three Strikes Plus, compared to its 1970's predecessor. Plinko came out in the 80's, but it was not yet winnable to $50,000 until the 90's.
