Then wins her showcase off $312 dollars only $62 dollars away from the double showcase win!! She would have the highest daytime total $101,132 dollars in cash & prizes!!

Elizabeth is a fine little lady, despite all her screams! 😂😍

Actually the 2nd strike has always been my favorite.

I was on price is right in 1998 and won this game. Won a Buick. I felt the chips and could feel the x outline on chip. It’s a sticker. I never picked one X.

I think they meant that she would choose a 3 for the first number. I thought the same thing, how could she think a jaguar would be a 30 thousand dollar vehicle. It was obvious the 3 would not be the first number

There was a brief amount of time, awhile back.... When they got RID of TWO of the 3 Strikes (X's) & ONLY used the ONE Strike, up to the three total......thereby possibly increasing more chances of winning.... I think Bob was still hosting then too, I don't recall Drew being a part of that... I wish they'd go back to that, just using the 1 strike up to the 3 strikes.... OTHERWISE, 3 Strikes is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to win most of the time....

The double showcase win should really be within $500 at this point. I mean, we're about 50 years since the show started.

I think there's an October 2016 playing of 3 Strikes that took 16 PULLS before the player won. 16 PULLS! And it was the most expensive car ever won on that game, a $63,415 Cadillac. BTW, that was the last win we had on the original set, and the last win we had for 4 years, until it was finally won with the new set in January of 2021.

Didnt it used to be within $500 for double showcases?

That was back when you rarely had cars that were 5 digits. Nowadays cars start at 5 digits, so that's why they got rid of it.

Nowadays, you have to be within $250. Back then it used to be less than $100. I say less than $100 since we had a person miss by exactly $100 on their showcase when that rule was in play, but they didn't win both showcases.

This game is actually rigged to be terrible odds by the end of it... Even if you don't get the strikes on the first pulls, you're bound to have a 75% chance of striking out by the end of it, then 66% and then it's a 50-50 of winning or losing. I mean, those are still good odds to win a Jaguar, but compared to other games on TPIR, this one is kinda harsh.
