You don't have to pay taxes on anything but products you buy if you know what you're doing. I haven't paid income tax in ten years. Been audited three times. Just gotta now about tax deductible things and use the constitution. The constitution is IRS kryptonite.

In back room the guy is not permitted to spin and instantly sent to unseen showcase. The loser of the remaining two goes with him to unseen showcase. UNSEEN SHOWCASE: Guy dumbly presses buttons. He somehow enters the hack code for correct exact price to come up. Bob goes, "No! Not that! You weren't supposed to know that." Bob goes in back recording area, "I need a vacation! I need like a 6 month leave of absence!!! In fact I've got a better idea!!!! I'm giving my 6 month notice!!! That's right!!! I quit!!!!" Goes back up to contests and says, "now there's only one solution to do in a thing like this. I'm giving you both.....both of the showcases!!" Says to other contestant that (s)he will be back. Goes up to guy, "you....I don't want you back on here. You are not to use me as a reference. And if I'm paired up with on a celebrity show, I will not be so charitable to you as I was to Happy Gilmore.....you understand?????" Guy nods smiles weakly, "yes" Bob Barker grabs his arm squeezing it and pushes him in a circle 60 MPH, "now get off the stage" Guy goes crashing into one of his showcases and the organ and knocks himself out cold. Bob Barker mutters, "we're insured. When he wakes up in the hospital we'll just give him the other showcase and make some story up. Along with that we'll pay his hospital bills and give him the all expense paid trip"

Conclusion: The guy tried to flip the second panel (95), but it didn't flip, so he tried pressing the button - not knowing what it did (hopefully enabling him to flip the 95 though). He was not a cheater because even after he saw the correct price, he can't "correct/change" his answer. The host gave him the prize anyways because he saw that the second panel wouldn't flip - even though the guy had the intentions of doing so. Had the second panel flipped, the price would have been right.

Oddly enough he would've gotten the prize fairly if he had just flipped the one he was gonna flip. I don't blame Bob for flipping out. EDIT: I just now noticed the pun there at the end of my comment. Completely unintentional but very fitting, lol.

It seems to me like he had every intention to "Flop" anyway, but just wasn't able to spin the tile for some reason. Not too sure why, because clearly Bob was able to do it. Maybe he was trying to spin it horizontally instead of vertically (which honestly would make more sense given what is being done to the numbers... it also may have averted the blooper that occurred later in Oct 2008 with Drew when the panel with the numbers wouldn't stay in its slot) I wouldn't go as far as to call this cheating, but you'd think the first reaction when a prop doesn't seem to be working would be to consult with the host, rather than hit an unlabeled big red button you weren't told what it was for.

Not necessarily. I was thinking the same thing you were, it does look like he meant to push the button to change the numbers when he couldn’t do it manually.

Bob clearly said "But do not leave it at $4,659". He did, and he should NOT have been awarded the prize. If he flopped the 59 to a 95 and had the price of $4,695, although Bob would be nearly as loud with the NO!, he should have won at that point.

It wasnt stupid. They gave it to him.because the sign didnt flip like it was suppose to. So he did the next logical thing hit the only button within reach. Also people that call others stupid are usually the stupid ones.

And that's why they have since moved that reveal button to the side. To be fair he looked like he wanted to flop the 59 anyway, which would have been correct. And I think that's why Bob gave him the prize.

This reminds me of my grandma. God I miss her.

As I watched this clip I remembered watching this episode on TV. When I was a child this show was the main highlight of sick days. When I graduated from high school I should have devoted more of my life to watching Barker. My time was wasted on college... even though I'm going to get my doctorate soon. Yeah.
