Yea because his back hit the ground first and she was on the opposite side and once she realized the ref called it (meaning it legal and he won the match or a insane amount of points) she immediately sat right back down.

training, fitness, & strong core kept torso up, chin on chest, to absorb impact evenly on back & minimize whiplash. Any regular joe would get his spine poking out the neck after that slam. Graeco-Roman gladiators knew how to kill with or without weapons.

Any way to train so that you can do this to someone even if they’re taller, larger, and heavier than you and you’re a small person generally speaking? Any way to train so if you’re the one that’s slammed, you don’t need a medic and you can walk it off just fine and you don’t feel pain? I want high pain threshold and high pain tolerance and I also want to be able to do this and make people meet the afterlife with my bare hands and no weapons.

@@twentyonetortas5921 drills and repetiton. Over and over again. Until done without thinking then more drills and repetition. The strongest and with most drills memorized by muscle often wins

Also I could swear that this is illegal because I saw it another video on KZread in a high school match they did that and the ref said why are you guys cheering that's an illegal move.

Compare this to bjj where if you place someone on their back after lifting them they flop around like a fish grabbing their neck. This dude handled it very well.

I confess to knowing very little about this sport or it’s rules so I will accept what you say. The fact that such reckless behaviour is legal makes me think that it is a different branch of wrestling to that which I have been watching up to now. My first love has always been the martial arts - judo/jujitsu/karate etc and heavy weight boxing but the wrestling as portrayed on Midwest Wrestle etc has intrigued me of late and I’m beginning to appreciate the tactics/ power/speed and fluency of the combatants even though I have only a sketchy appreciation of all the rules. What I witnessed in the few seconds of this video has left me baffled as to its rules and with absolutely no desire to watch anymore. Judging by the comments of others I don’t think I’m alone in my views but of course you are entitled to yours.
