My all time favorite band. One of the all time greats on par with the Beatles.
Stewart drummming just amazing.
My favorite Police song.
Andy freakin sheds it! He's such an underrated guitarist.

Unique
Stewart Copeland was born with DNA to drum, there is absolutely no question about it and, his backing up is just as amazing!
Obviously a serious guitarist with great improvised skills, however the recorded lead break is so great it would be nice to hear him play close to it live, just my opinion and I think he is a amazing player and extremely underrated for some strange reason???

You're clearly not listening well, it's nearly a dead ringer for the album track.

Underrated Drummer? Lots of people I know who understand the art put SC up there with the other great masters like John B, Ian Paice, Neal Pert, Carl Palmer and Nicky Headon

As a bass player, this guy would be awesome to work with. Copeland is as good as they come. Walking on the Moon is a great example of his work.

Stewart Copeland is top 5 of all time in any drummer’s book….he puts his signature on every song.
Stewart Copeland is a very talented man
Die Band ist einfach nur geil!!!Sie machen eineis hung aus Rock, punk Reggae, meisterhaft die sensible Stimme von Sting und die mords power von den Drums. Vielleicht sind sie nicht die Besten, aber auf jeden Fall verdammi gut !!!!!!!!!;
Stewarts use of the hi-hats and ride are like no other. Each, an individual instrument unto themselves.Thank you for educating me in the art and science of percussion,Mr. Copeland. You made learning our instrument fun for me!
Live Brilliant been there twice
Sting is flying with those vocals!

Best version of this song!
For sure one of the most influencial punk bands of all times, these punchy chords on the refrain are exactly what punk means, and Andy Summers is a genuis coming from jazz

Nothing Achieving is a great punk sungle. Glad to see someone that knows punk isn't just hardcore and 77'. The tension the band is playing with here is exactly what I look for in Punk. Anyone playing sound up this right IS punk in my book.

What does Sting say at the end? Is it "things you do go to my head"?
Copeland's hats are mic'd way too hard ha. He's such a stud though nothing could make him sound bad.

how does Stewart activate the Delay on drums when he has his hands and feet already occupied?

Andy might not be the best guitar soloist, but he sure can play. And he got better by the time the 2007 reunion came back

Yes as soloist he is very strange and not so able at all but he's an incredible genious as rhythm guitarist and his solos are so different and strange to be, at the end, a brand of Police's music. He tries to use diminuished and superlocrian solutions, as in jazz music, on his solos but it sounds not so right for pop or rock music. It seems out of key more than sometimes but it is not a case but what he wanted and looked for being different from other rock guitarist of his time.
Underrated? Not by the people I roll with....
Wow, the chorus is sooooo rushed ! Methinks there might have been some Peruvian Marching Powder in the vicinity.....lol

IMHO, it’s the best angular lead solo ever, amazing… Andy went to the UCLA music conservatory and did a lot of jazz before the police - his musical taste and profile is way up there

Best drummer ever, worst guitarist ever...
I love the police and Andy Summers is a great guitarist, but he hits loads of bum notes around 2:53 and 2:59. A pretty terrible solo tbh
