It’s peculiar that many bands feel the need to hide extra musicians under/behind the stage and out of sight. It’s as if they think fans are too stupid to think, “Cool. They brought in someone to enhance the live show.”

I guess it's a 'fans want to see the band' mentality (or ego on the part of some - unfortunately possibly true here!), but agreed entirely: showing and shouting out to the guests adds just as much as they do themselves. We want to know who's rockin' this stuff, eh!

An Essay... rant Free your mind... Swim in comfort as time floats in every direction to be infinity and something near sane yet askew in orbit around our minds to find a home between Rome, Athens, and Jerusalem as we believe in Tooth queens who want our teeth wrapped in Boogymen and Bunny's who give us candy only on one day as the Bunny sews a red suit for a jolly fellow at the North Pole feeding jet powered mammals with big horns that never honk or make a noise as we wear masks to beg for candy on the Eve of All Saints. An American dream is now over as we surrender to Gates, Jobs, and every one percenter who places mercury and abest-toast in my cereal bowl at breakfast. Forget Alice and the Queen of hearts as we make better fiction wearing fact and how could we ever believe in Jesus when we find fiction fed to us as fact? The new punks will rise among cerebral rockers telling truth and the herd will mostly ignore again as time melts to feed ants and a sterile view of God who washed hands with Pilate and wanted Barabas free. We turn away from lies yet keep cherished myths of crux and resurrection as science will one day prove what faith has always known. Always know that one we judge untouchable today may be our best friend tomorrow. All in this world will rust... turn to dust as we become corrupt in time as we must pray there is a better day... an invisible Sun. All that matters is how we treat others while here before we pas. An Essay... rant... by Gordon Stoeffler copyright 9/10/2017... inspired by Wil Durant, Dr. Suess, Caroll, name every mad person in all world lit. but the key to this is Sting and the Police. The punks who married much in music/thought.
