A legend interviewing another legend.
True story: I was a teenager back in the early 90s. I went to Hong Kong for my routine summer break visiting family. I bumped into Sally in a laser disc movie rental store called Laser People located in Causeway Bay. I told her I was a big fan of hers and I enjoyed her music. She stopped flipping through the movies and gave me her full attention, thanking me for being a fan and had a short conversation with me. What a nice humble person with a big heart! This encounter with her made me love her and her music mote than ever, even to this day. Sally, you are truely loved by millions.
Listening to 2 elegant ladies in conversation is a real pleasure !!! keep well ladies and Sally, keep on singing and singing !!!!

Wow, what a wonderful interview, we love Sally. She is the best! Let’s age gracefully, enjoy life, live in the moment, and have a great time! 👍🤩❤️
As a fan of Sally Yen since the 1980s, I am looking forward to a 2nd or 3rd wave of her career which has brought so much feelings of joy, love and positivity for so many. Keep going, Sally !
She is such a humble person. That's something that a great person should have.
Sally Yeh is a true legend. I love how she embraces the natural of life. She had been my inspiration for 30+ years of my life. Thank you!!
“No plan”. Sally is very true to herself. Meanwhile she is very realistic, down to the earth. That’s a talent I admire very much.
I absolutely love Sally Yeh's perspective on aging especially in the entertainment industry where there is so much focus on looking youthful. I appreciate what she said about "I let the universe take me where I'm supposed to go. I'm not afraid of aging, it is a natural process of life that we have to embrace" PERIOD
Why is she still so beautiful ? 😊 She doesn't look 60 at all. Such a treasure, an asset that China should cherish.
Wow, hat a lovely lady! I know some of her songs but never saw the person behind the songs. Greetings from the Netherlands.
i met her in a badminton gym in USA she is a down to earth person very nice and friendly. i still have a picture with her with my badminton partner ( Sally please stay healthy and best wishes to you)
Let life comes to you. Live life one day at a time and be in the present moment, in the universe. Ageing is part of the journey. Being able to relate to each other in a relationship and being kind and loving to ourselves and respect each others boundaries and supporting each other to grow. That's Relation-ship. That's maturity and wisdom. Thank you for sharing, Sally ! 🙏🏼☯️🙏🏼
I love her theme songs for Hong Kong movies....especially, her theme song for Asia is Red/Master Asia..... she was so pretty back in the 90s and still is.... Sally Yeh is a LEGEND of Hong Kong cinema and music industry
I still listen to her music. She’s one of my parents’ favorite singer so when I have to drive them around, I put in my Sally Yeh CD.
I went to hwe concert in Singapore a number of years ago. She is just so energetic and gave a wonderful rendition of many hit songs.
Sally Yeh is like great wine, she just gets better and better as she ages.
Super fan of Sally! Great interview. Love her personality and how she approaches life. She gives me goosebumps every time she is on stage. A natural great performer!
I love Sally since she started to sing in HongKong. She is cute and funny too. her answers about aging and love are wonderful👍
Great interview! Sally is a very GOOD and SIMPLE person who face live as a journey, take love with open heart, open mind! She never gets old as a person, just the numbers changes by the second!, bless her for the coming journeys
Her strong vocal was the main reason why people thought she was a diva and unapproachable. But in reality, she has a bubbly personality. Watch and listen to her since the late 80s.
Sally Yeh’s songs brought back enduring memories of the ola time. Sally speaks perfect English. Thank you for being on LiuXin’s show.

Thank you Ms Liu Xin for bringing about the interview with Ms Sally Yeh. Ms Yeh is indeed a very good and versatile singer.
I just love every song of Sally, thank you for all the great songs sung with emotions. You are truly a legend, embrace by many generations. Looking forward with hope, challenge and embracing the future.
Didnt expect this interview at all. What a pleasant surprise to see Sally after so many years of absence! Now 60 and looking good and positive are truly amazing
Sally is a ‘true blue’ entertainer with her talent not by her looks nor costumes. Glad to know that she will be active again & can’t await to enjoy her new songs and performances.
Sally Yeh vocal is extraordinary and so mellifluous.
Yes Sally. Born in 1970, I listened to you music. You always present yourself elegantly. You are well known in my country, Malaysia.
Absolute grace, i’m her fan for over 30 years now !!!
I grew up listening to her...she is not just an idol for me, but more of a mentor, because, like her, I don't understand Chinese but I love singing Chinese words....she's a legend.
I bought her cassette the day i got my first pay check. Loved it. Long time ago, i listen to her songs with my sony walkman which i bought just to listen to her songs
Remember it was a very late night in year 1992 that I was suddenly waken up by a stunning song with nice melody from Radio Guangzhou on my AIWA Walkman , the lyrics was so touching and I couldn’t hold back my tears and I had a sleepless night after the song. Some days later I finally found out the name of that song was 潇洒走一回. It has been 30 years since then, I still have this song in my car! Thank you Sally
love Sally and her songs , still looking glamorous & elegant , I'm sure if she dye her hair black she'll be back to her 40-ish self again . God bless her and best of luck with her show ! From 1 of her fans in UK !

Trying to maintain a perpetual youthful look contradicts her philosophy ‘growing old is part of life’. Besides, she looks very distinguished and elegant with silver hair.
Sally is Ageing into perfection.
Sally is evergreen and definitely a Legend! Thank you Sally for all your songs. Bless you always. Take care always.
I used to be in her fan club back in the 90s! lol Great seeing her resurgence! And she's so well spoken! Love her!
Thank you Sally for all those wonderful songs. Very fortunate to have you in our era.
OMG I love sally yeh! Or Sally Yip as we call her in HK. I have so many childhood memories of my parents listening to her tapes and her many theme songs to classic golden era films. Such a legend! It’s so good to see her!. Now we just need an interview with Maggie Cheung and one with Joey Wong.
As you have done tremendous job, people like what you have done. Your songs can connect people in so many ways. Love you!

So good to see Sally. She is a true legend. I grew up listening to her song, George Lam etc. When she said ".. and when I plan it, it always get messed up." it really strucked me, thought I was alone like that.
Sally is a shinny example of building bridges between Hong Kong and The Motherland :)
Wonderful to see 2 powerful ladies on air. Salute to you.
Love Sally, from.Malaysia. Enjoyed all her songs and movies. Tq.
She's a legend and love all her songs.
I'm so glad she's making a comeback! I was just a school kid when cantonpop was a thing. I use to do my homework while listening to all the cantonpops. She's one of my favorite. It's unfortunate that 2 of my other fav legend had passed on.

Not to my salty or anything, but I feel like that's basics for any Chinese person born and raised abroad that just isn't praised enough. This is especially when like a lot of mainland people will be so impressed by any foreigner knowing how to say the most basic words in Chinese. Almost all my mainland born friends don't believe me when I tell them that I was born and raised in San Francisco. The two chinese profs in my department kept telling me that "I speak really good, accent free English. What age did you come to the US?" and then they were floored when I told them that I was an ABC. And then their compliment became "wow you speak really good Chinese for an ABC". LOL. That's the byproduct of parents who don't speak a lick of English at home, a mom who loves watching mainland dramas, going to Cantonese chinese school to learn the characters and then self-teaching myself Mandarin by recognizing the characters while watching the dramas. A lot of us also know other Western languages by way of school making us learn as graduation requirements. I can fluently speak, read and write English, Cantonese and Mandarin, on top of having learned 3 years of French in high school and now learning Spanish by immersion because my partner is Mexican American. It's all a matter of being forced out of your own comfort zone and being willing to embarrass yourself and learn!
Sally is such a lovely and nice person, positive thinking and living each day as it goes by is perhaps the best way to live our lives especially at an older age without worrying too much
Sally looks amazing at 60 years old. I love Sally's songs since I was 12 years old and I still love her songs today.
I love you Sally! Please join more singing shows!
I love Sally, she really did what she is actually! 一切随缘就好, 感谢有您🙏
Sally is a very talented singer & her performance on stage was and still is superbe coupled with a very down to earth and humble personality. She is the icon of yesteryears cantopop that impacted my youth. Keep it up & thank you for those years of entertainment and great evergreen repertoire
Thanks Xin for doing such a great interview with Sally. I have always enjoyed watching the Point as it gives me a good and different perspective from the western media. Great work. Sally please keep singing and do not ever retire. Your voice is so powerful and even there are a lot of good singers on the 聲生不息 show and definitely in China, yours always projected such a powerful yet silky voice. Come to Toronto and do a show with your husby.
Only younger people don't understand that depth of character, experience, masterfulness and wisdom come with age.
She just keeps getting better! Love her even more now,
I'd been in Canada for 50 years ! This is my first time to listen to Sally's beautiful voice and her songs! I did enjoyed the show very much!
She is a great singer and I am excited to see her back again.
She’s still beautiful at 60. She’s had so many great songs from the 80s and 90s. My most memorable is the theme song ( 黎明不要來Dawn please don’t come) to the 80s classic movie starring Leslie Cheung, ‘ A Chinese Ghost Story.’

Sally still look stunning and incredible as a singer.
Lovely interview, Liu Xin. Both you and Sally look splendid!
I was not a big fan of Sally but now I like her more and more, not just because I appreciate more of her songs and singing skills, but the vitality and positive mentality she demonstrated in her recent music program in China. She ages gracefully without extra makeup or dying her hair(except dying it grey). A one year old child grows 100% older the following year, while a 50 year old gets just 2% more in a year' s time. So who should be more afraid of ageing? Sally, good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Bcoz of the genuine love and warmth she conveys touch thirsty souls
