I never thought of it that way, that's an excellent assessment. Mondstadt’s connection to Khaenri’ah is Kaeya and I'm not sure about Shneznaya unless we count Signora🤔. I like this idea.

I just love it that every time mondstadt's freedom was threatened, you can find venti, a gunnhhildr, and a ragnvidr involved in the resistance. The idea of diluc's family having roots to natlan's murata has been in mind for quite a long time too but I cannot connect the dots. Until you reminded me about Imunlaukr. It just clicked lol.

One think is certain to me about Diluc that is he was no normal human he can use delution way better then childe because he can survive longer and able to fight and survive after getting gang up by motiple fatui harbinger

I have always wondered about Diluc’s mysterious ability to give up a vision with no consequence and then use a Delusion for a few years and come back without any ill effects and the guy had the Fatui's Harbingers attention. I wouldn't be surprised if new recruits aren't briefed on him.

I love Diluc with all my heart (and I was so excited to see him for the alchemy event!!). I really hope to see him in Natlan going forward!

Interestingly enough Raginvindr also means 'Wind God', its funny to think that the person who decided to start using that name admired Venti enough to have their surname be a reference to him (if thats what happened). Then again Venti seems to make friends pretty easily even if they come to him wanting to fight. 😅 (In case anyone is wondering. Gunnhildr means Battle maiden, Lawrence means Laurel, and Imunlaukr means War-leek)

The etymology of names for people and things in the world of genshin is always worth looking into because there is a deeper meaning. It's why I'm very curious as to why we can't find a Kaeya equivalent yet. Even npc names are directly drawn from places and the resulting meaning gives clues to their character but not Kaeya, only his last name Alberich matches anything and it is connected to the most referenced work in the game. Heavy hitting names like Rhinedottir, Nibelung, and what also come from that work. 🤔 Makes you wonder.

@@theunlikelygenshingamer One theory I've heard is that Kaeya's name might be a variation of the german name Kaija, the swedish version of the name Kaja can mean jackdaw. Interestingly enough there's a story called the Vain Jackdaw and its borrowed feathers, which is about a jackdaw decorating itself with peacock feathers and jackdaws are also a part of the corvid family like the ravens which decorate the treasure hoarder coins.

This is why I am excited at Natlan's lore, and of course I can't let go of my most favorite nation still, and it's Mondstadt. Diluc was the first character that pique to my interest and I still main him. This is a great video! I enjoyed watching and listening to it.

I'm a Diluc main since I got him (before Xianyun was even announced)! I LOVE my Genshin Batman, and Pyro was always my fav element! I wish I could afford his skin 😔 I want him to appear in events and have an active role! 🔥💥🖤

Regarding diluc i would be more on the theory side that he is the son (or something?????) of a witch from the hexenzirkel

Personally dont agree with Diluc being specifically the child of Murata, at least not in biological sense. I think Venti was speaking figuratively there. But I do agree in thinking he has some sort familia connection to Natlan. Something about his design gives a sort of spanish feeling to me. Not sure how to explain why

Finally Someone understands what i’ve been saying. Not only everything you said but also the Pyro Archon is rumored to be a Claymore user Diluc is also a Pyro Claymore user.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to think this. I thought I was a little crazy when I thought this too. I have many strange theories that seem to align at least partially with other lore-tubers. Absolutely. No one has said the gods can’t have or can have children. Zhongli is older than 6000 years old. We do not know where he was or who he was with before he came to Teyvat. With his bright red hair and red eyes could possibly be offspring of the Matlan god.

I don’t think so mostly because dulics heritage goes way back to even before the people of natlan migrated to mondstadt but he could have some heritage plus it was said in the manga that the people blessed with red, fiery hair were children of murata now I don’t think that they’re her little children but that they called that just because they have fiery red hair, just like their Archon

I like the idea that everyone from natlan are sons or daugthers of Murata. But that would Vennessa and Diluc half siblings, and they are 1000 years apart... so as cool as that is, i can't see it

He could still be a descendant, which in certain terms could still be referred to as "child of." Kinda like in the Bible all worshippers are considered "children of god."

If the playable characters from Nation were in Percy JACKSON they'd all be sons and daughters of Ares/Mars

there was also a rumor going around by the time the Hexenzirkel was introduced.. because some observed that the tea set they were using had the same design as the tea set used to serve the Traveller when he visited Dawn Winery. So some speculated that Crepus Ragnvinder's wife (Diluc's mom) is a member of the Hexenzirkel, which is on par with Alice (Klee's mom)

when dilucs skin came out i was overjoyed because hes one of my favorite characters, and i care a LOT about the lore of the game, making his skin pretty important. so the more screentime diluc gets, the happier i get as well lol

i really like Ashikai’s theory of Nicole being related to the Dawn Winery bc her tea cup is the exact same design as those inside. Imagine Nicole is a descendant of Murata or something and like Dilucs mom somehow ….

the murata clan whos diluc's a descendant XD they are only a clan of people, just a little part of natlan, ((so not all of natlan are demigods. neuvillette told us that most natlans are some kind of dragon kind))... and probabaly the dscendants of himeko murata, who i theorized fell into teyvat from honkai: becuz we only saw her fall into the sea of quanta that connects all the universes XD maybe the previous archon saved her since teyvat do not have the honkai virus, maybe what slowly killed himeko dissapeared cuz honkai cant exist in teyvat. and they had kids or something... we yet to meet an archon that have spouses or biological kids and such XD so only muratas might be special

There were actually 4 noble clans, not 3. Sadly not much is known about the last but that shouldn’t exclude them from the list.

Wasn't the fourth the Imanlukr? Part of what I was theorizing was that the Imanlukr faded into obscurity because it actually changed name and became known as the Ragnavindrs. There is no evidence of the Ragnavindrs from Decarabian's time like the Lawrence and gunhildr, and on the flip side there is no more about the Imanlukrs long after that time as well. Its not much to go on but that's why it's a theory I guess 🙂

naah. at best we will get a mention of Diluc in Natlan. Hoyo needs to sell new characters. lol unless they do something like Dan Heng in HSR. different entity but same character.

Учитывая то, что о родителях Дилюка мало известно (привет, Крепус), о матери ни слова, +хорошое владение глазом порчи (как мы видели по сюжету, у большей части пользователей начинаются проблемы со здоровьем от этой "игрушки"). Now that would be cool. I really want to see what this place is like because there are no npc any where. What if dragons like Ursa are meant to hunt down people who leave and kill them, no questions asked. Maybe if Dottore didn't kill it, it would have come back to finish off Diluc. Maybe that's why there are no npcs they're either dead or to scared to leave.
