@@trickc11 There are many parallels between Jesus and Star Wars. Remember when Luke couldn't lift his X-Wing out of the swamp on Dagobah due to its size but Yoda could ? "That is why you fail". It is a direct parallel to the parable of the Mustard Seed and Simon Peter being of little faith.

@@riverstone9005 it's often interpreted as the prophecy of how Jesus will save mankind from their sin. This verse talks about a future descendant of Eve that will be the enemy of the serpent in the Garden of Eden. It says the descendant will "bruise the serpent's head" meaning to step on the snake's head or "to kill and defeat the serpent". But the serpent will "bruise his heel". Meaning the snake will also bite the descendent and kill him. So the snake will be defeated, but the descendant will die doing so, like how Satan was defeated by Christ's death on the cross

Satan charged that God's crowning creation was just flesh, and flawed, and would yield to his fleshly desires than Reflect God's qualities (God is a spirit) Christ furnished that challenge. He proved man was more than flesh, that he can uphold God's ways even at the expense of his life. He crushed the serpent in the Head but suffered a fatal heel wound. @@jakerojas4756 that is so true, I heard of this same explanation but a slight difference of the "crowing creation" from one of our local preachers, he told that when Adam was created God gave him "Authority" (supposedly similar to crowning creation) over all living things. Satan as envy as he is wanted that said "Authority" and got it when Adam and Eve sinned. As generation and eras go by, the Authority that was with satan was won over by God through His Son Jesus, and since Jesus was human the Authority is now in humans possession again and we can only use/activate it spiritually by believing in the Son of God. It's amazing how these spiritual warfare happens right

What makes this depiction of the Father of Lies scary is that it’s not scary. It comes to you in the form of beauty to seduce you into sin, and use words so seductive that make you question everything you believe in. That’s what frightens me about Satan. It doesn’t show hatred, it appears calm and collected to make you feel comfortable

This film really makes a scary depiction of Satan unlike those in art wherein he is a red-skinned and horned entity with a pitchfork. Satan does not show his true form just like God but unlike God who takes form of clouds, fiery bush, or wind, or maybe light, Satan uses frightening forms like a black-robed figure, a disfigured entity, and others to excite fear.

@chango vato the Bible says no such thing actually. You’re mistaking Paradise lost for the Bible. The Bible barely mentions Satan at all (there are less than 20 references to him in the entire book). The only allusions to his form are a mention of him being an angel of light/fire (most Christian angelology describes Satan as having once been a Seraph) and another as a great dragon. He is never actually described as beautiful. In Paradise Lost however, he is described both as beautiful and also as extremely “macho” and strong. He’s actually described as more powerful than all the other angels in heaven combined.

The thing is we all love our Lord but do we love him enough. Temptation is always there because the devil knows that if he can push the right buttons someone's bound to fall sooner or later and maybe even some of the most devout people amoungst us. I'm no theologian infact I'm not very well educated atall but I do know this much without jesus help eventhough we love him so much even the best of us haven't a hope of getting into heaven.

The way they portrayed the Christian interpretation of Satan in this movie is brilliant, imho. It looks like a being that was once sexless, beautiful, made from the Light itself, and could once probably bring great comfort to any human, but has become corrupt. The evil inside is basically leaking from those eyes.

What he means, is that Jesus being crucified it´s not good for Satan, remember, if Jesus is crucified and dies, humanity is forgiven, past, present and future sins can be forgiven because He paid for everyone, dead and alive, and if Jesus resurrects, (And He will because it is still part of the mission) Satan will lose control over his powers because Jesus would have beaten death, making humanity able to beat it to. (Spiritually speaking, achieving heaven).

This movie gives my weary soul hope. Darkness shrouds this world drenched in so much evil. Help us Jesus!

I love this portrayal of Satan. I think it’s my favourite of any film. Hard movie to sit through though, for obvious reasons. What struck me most about this scene is that, when Jesus is afraid, he doesn’t go to a temple or to a priest, but to a garden.

My precious & holy saviour my Lord😊 Christ Jesus who reigns with power & might for ever & ever Hallelujah.

The creation cannot defeat the creator. Never has never will. (The devil knows already he has lost)

Just the Words of Christ will defeat the devil. When the demons who possessed the man in the graveyard saw Christ, they screamed of fear because they know their judgement day is coming.

All hail the King of Kings , the everlasting Lord of Light. When He comes again, He will come with armies upon armies of ArchAngels. He will come with purifying Fire. And He will not even need to use one angel , or any weapons. He will speak the Word of God. And ALL humanity will be forced on their knees, and profess Jesus is the King of Kings, and the son of the one and ONLY living God, our heavenly father.
