Who’s watching in 2024 I swear to God Cyndi Lauper took me by surprise I never connected the two because of her music videos and how she looked and how she looks here is amazing how versatile I never would’ve put the two together still watching the movie

Who would have thought that Christopher Walken and Cyndi Lauper in a movie? WOW! I actually got to see Cyndi Lauper on stage in Santa Barbara. She is truly an incredible performer. Seems actually an excellent actress also! Yes, I rushed the stage, reached up and she held my hand while she sung for quite some time. Love her!

I taught was a singer?

I thoroughly enjoyed this quaint, understated, little film. A heist film that isn't loud, obnoxious, full of explosions, car chases and foul language. Plus Tom Noonan is a treasure and Cindy Lauper is one gorgeous dame. Definitely worth a look.

Actors like Christopher Walken give convincing performances. Always feel good to watch their movies. Brian Dennehy is another example.

Dennehy is the same in every single movie he was in. Walken is mostly walken through. Good, but he can be better. His best movie was Pennies From Heaven. But he is misused. He should be doing Brecht. He should be Mac the Knife.

Vera Farmiga!!! I absolutely fell in love with her and her blue eyes when she portrayed a Russian prostitute in 2001's "15 Mintues" starring De Niro, Ed Burns, and the late Kelsey Grammer, Karel Roden, and Oleg Taktarov. She is also an elder sister to Taissa Farmiga whom portrayed the daughter in the first serial anthology of American Horror Story entitled "Murder House".

Every time I watch a movie with Christopher Walken in a lead role or a major role, my suspension of disbelief remains completely intact.

Not so much me. I find myself saying, MORE COWBELL. I also can't stand that he teamed up with Natalie Wood's husband to murder her. Maybe she did bring it on herself by threatening to not only divorce Robert Wagner, when she caught the two actors engaged in buttplay, but she refused to keep their secret

It's double evil seeing him throw stolen money about as if he could never get jail time for ever cent he does not return before the judge slams the hammer down. Did he also contaminate his wife with a Juke Box bought with stolen loot.

This is one of my comfort movies. Admittedly, it's slow and plodding, but CW and CL give wonderful performances. Truth be told, this movie made me fall in love with Cyndi all over again.

It's surprising how many actresses can sing and singers that can act,probably going to the acting schools,they do dance,acting and singing. The true actors is I believe a God given talent... Put on this earth to entertain us, These two are a fine example of that.❤❤

How did you come out from that film? I was 15 and devastated, felt so bad, was too young and lost.

I was alive during Cindy's hey day. I've never seen her look as good as she is in this movie.

Good performances from the main actors , especially Walken, make this a very watchable movie. Unusual for crime caper movie in that not a shot was fired nor any violence other than Walken taking one punch from a heavy.

Cool movie. Smart writing and a great cast. Any movie with Christopher Walken in it is always worth watching. Cyndi Lauper is a natural at acting, who knew...? This movie was a welcomed change of pace with very little violence and profanity.

Great movie. I'd watch anything with Christopher Walken. Genius actor. He played the best Macbeth I've ever seen. Brilliant. I was terrified that the old woman was Cindi Lauper. Very relieved that it wasn't her. She looks incredible. She's my background music to the 80's. Never seen her in a film before. Why not? She was terrific. Chemistry was great between her and Walken. 👍

Christopher Walken so laid back very mellow kind of guy.

A sweet ending. Not your typical heist moving ending. Enjoyed it!

Watched for Walken, but was rewarded with a neat story and an excellent cast. Many thanks, Screen Blaze.

Christopher Walken what can anyone say. This movie is exactly like Ocean's 11 except better. I loved it and I wish it were longer movie or a sequel or a series. This was the most perfect movie.

You see the smart criminals always run down the middle of the road after they have committed a crime.

Tom Noonan was so good at playing weird, mysterious characters.

Sound quality echoes throughout, however, a really good crime movie. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thank Q. Oh, Cyndi Lauper is absolutely gorgeous and cannot understand why she didn't take her acting career further. Loved her 1990s music though. Great actress.

A robbery movie with no violence. Walken was in a good strictly comedy robbery movie called The Maiden Heist with Morgan Freeman, William H. Macy & Marcia Gay Harden
