I'm almost 62 years old, few films have made this old man tearing up at the end, it was worth it. I read many of the comments regarding my post, it seems that we can form the 60's group, where we can share all what is interesting or important to us! When I said that I was old, I was feeling so that day I posted, in reality most of the time I feel I'm 30, I'm very healthy, dynamic and positive, but I guess we all have our "I feel old" days sometimes. I loved the fact that no one was disrespectful or nasty in their comment, I guess life has taught us that that leads nowhere positive.

@@user-ek5du4dp3f-ten years ago my husband of 36 years died two weeks after I retired from work. It was devastating as it changed my life completely. We were never able to have children so that made it worse. Im here to tell you that it does get better so hang in there. You will have days where you don’t want to get out of bed. That’s ok for that day, but make yourself get up the next day. When I’m depressed and don’t want to do anything, I tell myself that I will do three things today even if it’s just picking up my dirty clothes and putting them in the hamper. What's wrong with nudity? We're all the same when naked; made in God's image. We are born naked. Babies see their mothers naked breasts!!! Isn't that shocking? They see the nipples!! In fact breasts are exclusively for feeding babies, nothing else but feeding babies and people make them look dirty! People with dirty minds make them look like that. Sexual organs serve as tool for reproduction!! What's wrong with that? Woman showing an ankle in Victorian era was deemed immoral. 😊

I'm 70 & I was really affected by this. It's true that the past comes alive at times at this age. Grandma says at one point what matters at the end of your life is whether you were loved or not. That's so true too. What are ghosts, why do they continue on for a time, sone of us can so easily accept them, see them, talk with them. I haven't but I can imagine it's so. 'There is more in heaven & Earth than is dreamt of in our philosophy.' Of course there are ghosts.

I had never heard of this exquisite film before and can’t imagine why. I am 64 and it has all the enchantment, beauty and adventure of the classic novels I read and TV series and movies I saw in the 1960s and early 1970s. I felt I’d returned wide-eyed to my childhood. I was completely captivated by it, it taps into very many traditional literary ideas, motifs and plots but not in a predictable way. So unpredictable, that the ending caused me to tear up as fantasy blends with the painful truths of the war years. Julian Fellowes is such a brilliant, gentle storyteller and a good director. Obviously, it goes without saying he has a stellar cast here, so many beloved and familiar faces, no wonder he recruited many of them for Downton Abbey. Alex Etel is very strongly supported but in the end he has to carry much of the film and he does so very well. An absolute delight.

This is a wonderful movie. I am happy to have been able to see this masterful story unfold on screen. From Time To Time is such an appropriately named title. Spirits moving from Dimension to Dimension in and out of time. It certainly does open a door to many possibilities. I honestly loved this movie. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Yes, Same here.. 😊 I even thougt in some scenes that Mrs Tweedle reminded me of Mrs Crawley.. I've been watching Downton Abbey too much 😉 But what haunts me is that this film popped up after having a quarrel with my partner... that is something to think about... And aswell that this is the first night in many months that I am staying at my old house, where when I bought it I was told, that the first owner might have hidden a treasure somewhere, because before they sold it, the heirs where searching everywhere for it, but didn't find anything.... That's what the previous owner told me, when I bought it... Maybe I should look for a hidden chimney 🤔😮

@@larrygamble8293 That is your choice, Larry. As for me, as a Christian, I try to guard my mind against anything that leans towards the demonic realm. Having seen demonic influence waaaaay too close for comfort, I want to always stay clear of it. It is extremely easy for demonic activity to creep thru a tiny chink in the armor and influence a person’s life. Simply put, it shows the depth of commitment one has made to Christ. But, I have my point. You have made your point. There is really no need to talk about it further.

I was very excited when I first found this movie. Growing up before cable TV, we were limited to the offerings of only 3 television stations. It wasn't until Harry Potter movies that I came to learn of the many talented actors from the UK and other European countries. I really like watching the same cast in various movies and, now, TV reruns. Timothy Spall, Maggie Smith, and so many others. This movie is a wonderful coming of age during the war. Absolutely well done.

I love the point where she says "Why don't you go see what Boggis is up to?" and you just know he's going to be pushing a wheelbarrow. That's that Boggis for you. There's a man who knows his way around a wheelbarrow. Timothy Spall may have been pushing things around in wheelbarrows for months in preparation for that part. I suppose if you are a gardener, and you start getting some kid hanging around, asking questions all day, the wheelbarrow is a universal symbol of "I've got somewhere else to be". Ideally, they're gone by the time you get back. If you're unlucky, they come with you. Then you just get into perpetual wheelbarrowing. Always on the move. Never able to settle again. Tragic.
