Last two videos have been great. I have started practicing with this technique and my left right misses are now 60cm or less on 20 metre chips and the short longs have improved. I feel I am going for the hole now more like a putt.

Nice thought process too I haven’t been in bunkers much yet (maybe twice) nor knew how to practice the shot. Something good to try since I’m trying to get back into my short game as my broken wrist just healed 😅. Cheers!

Incredibly helpful! With this technique would it make more sense to carry a low or high bounce sand wedge?

Depends on the sand. High bounce for fluffy, light sand. Low bounce for hard, compact sand

yeah as he explained, all you need to do is steepen the angle of attack!

Enjoyable as a diary of a lesson, but if it's intended as an instruction video, I would like to have a bit more detail. The set up/ball position isn't really explained . Grant relates to the short game video - which was excellent , but there have to be some differences because the bunker shot needs to hit the sand first rather than the ball. - at 2.40 for example Grant says , getting the sternum more neutral 'it sets the low point to where it should be ', but its not clear to me where he wants the low point to be . Sorry if this comes across as critical -it's not meant to be . I'm pleased to see someone getting away from the wide stance throw the clubhead approach , just would like to understand it a bit better !
