I like this guy. I need a lesson from him. I basically do the same thing when i get fatigued. Im good through 13 holes typically , then i start early extending and forcing things. I think you should hit 100 balls and then get him to put you in positions. Being tired kills my game

I truly believe my golf game would go to another level if AussieBeef were available to me. I have had lessons from 5 different instructors over the years and have never had anything close to this type of experience! So sad. Keep up the good work!

You have a great way of explaining the feelings in the golf swing. This lesson helped me improve my swing for sure.

Have had an early extension for my whole golf career, like you can get away with it but inconsistent thins and pulls. Typical "shallowing" advice ruins my timing but this proper set up adjustment is a win win without having to do anything extra. Thanks for posting this

That’s great to hear!!! Yeah early extension can be such a struggle to fix as it’s something most have been swinging with their entire life!

That was a fantastic lesson! I definitely benefit from creating that depth with my right leg. I am glad to see the explanation of how and why it works. Thank you!

Awesome lesson. Getting depth with that right hip in the take away cures a lot of issues. The clup falls right into place, on plane , and naturally shallows out on the forward swing. Eliminating over the top and casting / early extension. This happens to a lot of golfers who are hyper focused on not swaying. You hear it all the time, dont sway. In turn, the hips dont rotate nearly deep enough and it snowballs into over the top and so on.

Trying to hit a fade from a parallel stance requires contorting the body to create the right-to-left swing path and it’s no wonder you have lumbar spine pain at your age and are on target for spinal fusion by your 40s. Just ask Tiger about that. I’m 72 and still shaping shots, a lot, using the method Hogan and Nicklaus taught me via their books. 1) Open stance and mentally to commit to swing and finish coming up looking left, not at target (the most difficult reflexive habit to break), then 2) incrementally open the face in your grip and observe what that combination produces until you can get ball to curve back to center to the desired degree, anticipating the ball will now check and release to left-to-right and backwards instead of straight back. Swing mechanics stay exactly the same as a straight shot and are the same for a draw except stance faces right and face closes back towards target.

How often can it be mostly attributed to bad alignment. I fight early extension, seems like im always aimed too far right of target, which i believe gets me stuck....

Just like me and many others; not realizing you’re getting out of sequence because you’re swinging too hard. Funny thing is, the distance always ends up the same or better and accuracy becomes easier.

I think your tempo is too fast like 5 mph decrease you will probably cover the ball and square the face with ease you have a weird lunging finish as well
