Yeah, the ending was nice, but Okafor was just amazing. He was one of the main factors, making the first episode so good. And they just killed him off like this.

@@DietCoke-Editz Okafor and Rick battling the CRM and demons would've been great.....now we got Rick and Wakanda Forever. To me she's playing the same person....I liked her back in season 3 when she was a woman of few words and a loner....And her and Rick together seems forced. I remember Rick serving her up to the Governor to be killed at one point...but then later she suddenly falls in love with Rick....nah son.

Didn’t realise how much TWD needed Rick grimes. Maaaan it’s so good to see him back in action. The acting is so on point. The show has not disappointed the hype is real!!!

This death will have a lasting impact for the rest of the show. He was killed by Michonne (or her group) and he is one of Rick's only allies in the CRM.

I'm not gonna call him wasted potential yet. They gave him HUGE CANONICAL IMPORTANCE with the bombings of Atlanta and LA but we need to see more of him in flashbacks to decide if he's wasted. As of rn if this is all we ever get of Okafor then he is the most wasted character in twdu right behind Carl and sophia(comic readers know what I'm talking about).

This was such a crazy ass scene and andrews acting all season was amazing

The "I'm in" in the beginning. I think that's what makes people like Rick so special in this type of world. The man endured a lot of stuff and even lost himself along the way, before returning back as he was in the beginning of the show. (With a few changes of course) And despite all that, he has strong ideals, convictions and a will to fight. Not only for himself, but also for thoses who can't. That's the difference with wild survivors who just think about survival and their own benefits only. And that's what Okafor saw in Rick and probably Pearl too. He saw what Herschel, Dale, Glenn, Carl, Lori and all the people who know Rick see when they look at him. An individual who can see the greater good, and work to achieve a better world through better ways. Despite having known mayhem.

I didn't think he would die so quickly.This is first episode. It's Crazy..

It was a spike grenade, it was too risky too pull out in a short amount of time plus Rick didn’t know how deep the spike went so he could’ve made more damage just pulling it out and even if he did still wouldn’t have time to throw it out

Will likely have flashbacks, and his purpose was to twist Rick's mind into changing the CRM from the inside out, he gave him some final words of wisdom before he got imploded, that will likely be very important in the future.

i think okafor stopped himself from talking any further he said: "swear on a sword don't let it take" take what? and instead he sais "you'll know" and then he dies i think he meant to say: "don't let it take too long" cuz spoilers..... in the last episode took too long to swear on it and general beale noticed immediately unfortunately for beale rick had already decided to kill him and was just waiting for the right moment i can't be the only one that that came to this conclusion

As much as I loved Okafor, as a character, his death was done perfectly imho

The first one was a dud so probably didn’t explode all the way but since it penetrated okafor before exploding, it sorta trapped the concussive blast and shrapnel inside his body and spared Rick from the shrapnel

This death gave me a tropic thunder, stepping on a land mine feel

Michonne's friend Nat is an engineer and an expert at destroying stuff. He had a very troubled childhood. Anyways, Nat created a sort of homemade RPG that he called Screamsticks. Nat equipped Michonne with a handheld version when they first met, but this was done with a much larger launcher that he carried on his back and braced using a tripod.

@@024shabutie420 It's in episode 2: we get to see Michonne's point of view of this attack. Michonne and Nat were on their way to Alexandria when they saw the helicopter. A similar helicopter had bombed them with Chlorine Gas a year before, killing dozens of people that Michonne and Nat were with. They only barely survived and it took them a year to recover from it so when they saw a CRM helicopter, they retaliated against them rather than just running away. Incidentally, Michonne credits Nat as her inspiration while building a makeshift bomb with two walkers, one of them being Major General Beale, as the fuses to destroy the CRM's Chlorine Gas arsenal.

@@GourSmith Because all of twd has become insufferable and I can't keep subjecting myself when there's so much more interesting and time worthy shows. You might be a fan but I am no longer a fan of the series since the whole Saviours arc. I was so interested in the whisperers arc but still couldn't bring my self to watch any of that other than the highlights, like this highlight being the one thing I would enjoy is 10 Seconds in a 42 minute episode. Can you understand that? Can you see where I'm coming from?
