  great edit bro, tho i do think luke wins this matchup force users in canon get stronger as they age, kenobi was in his prime during ANH, and as we know, he lost to vader on the death star. luke fights prime vader in ROTJ and wins (barely) after rage amp, which makes it consistent to say that ROTJ luke >= ROTJ vader, although this is debatable. luke in the post ROTJ era masters his abilities and becomes a true jedi master as we also know, and is what we see on his appearances on mandalorian and BOBF. so pretty much, the way this goes is post ROTJ luke > ROTJ luke >= ROTJ vader > ANH kenobi > ROTS kenobi

  Obi Wan's prime wasnt ANH. He lost to Vader there, was slow with his movements, etc. Tho he did hold back and let Vader kill him, we all know that. He beat the shit out of Vader in the obi wan kenobi show, and did way better against him than Luke did.

  ​@@DietCoke-Editzthats common misconception, most people think that ANH obi is weaker because in the movie he is slow and seems weak, however that was just the way the fight was choreographed, alec guiness was old so obviously he wasnt very agile. in the novels it becomes clear that fight was way harder than it seemed. as i said, force users get stronger with age, that is confirmed in multiple canon medias. kenobi won against vader on the kenobi show due to him being heavily conflicted, and also that version of vader is nowhere near ANH, the vader that fought him in the death star was no conflict vader. obi is my favorite or second favorite (interchangeable) character in SW universe, i think he is very underrated powerscaling wise, however luke is the son of the chosen one and according to george lucas himself, he has the same potential as anakin. narrative wise is clear that luke is stronger as he is the representation of the last jedi and last hope in the galaxy. but if you disagree thats ok bro, opinions are opinions

  @@MatJ4c You didnt read the pinned comment. Im only basing this off of Movies/shows. I didnt read/play any other canon media. But yeah, i dont doubt they planned for it to be different than it looked in the movie. Obi wan wins in a fair duel imo, and luke wins in a fight to the death with force included.
