Probably my favourite release of the year. Definitely edging the size barrier though, 38mm is ideal for myself. The Silver dial is definitely a very interesting choice, may offer a more unique aging process.
Hey Britt, thanks for another wonderful review. I too am a “fanboy” of the crown, but have tried this on a number of times and really love it. Completely agree it is the best Omega release of the year, one of the best period. Take care and keep on smashing the KZread game!
Finally omebody noticing it. I think it's such an "under the radar" gem.
Holy shit!!! That Omega is so beautiful and elegant as hell!! Great video!
Totally agree about the length of the hands and I couldn’t unsee it once you’d pointed it out. I’d still have one though!
Just watched the watchfinder video. I became a subscriber a few days ago after seeing the Santos video and didn't realise you have only been doing this for just over a year. Fair play, good stuff. It's nice to see dress watch content.

I got my first 36mm watch this year (Oris Modern Classic) and I’m loving it. Just looking at this style of Omega makes me expect it to be 36mm. I’d have to try it on
Britt, I agree with you that this lovely watch is Omega's most attractive release of 2022. Love the sector dial and vintage 1939 vibes, but it should have been released as a 36 or 37mm. I like the strap and agree the hour hand should be a tad shorter.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! This is a watch right out of their archives, made modern. This has shot to the top of my Omega wish list. It’s getting a long list but I don’t care! Loving the Omega content Britney. You go Omega girl 😉 Ps 39mm is sooo perfect! 👌
I think I have found my realistic grail watch! That is such a beautiful watch. The smooth, grey dial looks so great, and I love the casual, dressiness of it. I could see myself wearing it now and when I am 70. Thanks for the great review!
Totally agree with you for the size. For dress watch 37mm, and manual wind is a perfect for me. First I was inclined to get this, then end up with SBGW231.
You should look at an overhead option for the mic so its not in frame. It might cost more but least its not gonna get on your nerves. As for the Omega, I mean its stunning. Not something I'd usually like but it is lovely and the exhibition caseback to see the movement is fantastic. Great review as always Britt.

Agreed, definitely a winner! I also feel it would have been much better if a tad smaller - between 37 and 38mm; but it would also depend on the lug to lug, and of course, the movement size. Still, I hope to add one of these to my collection, beside my blue Globemaster. Keep up the great videos! 🙏

Brilliant Brittany; love your positivity where sometimes others focus on the cheap shots or the frowns. You know that you’re WRONG about 37mm ; good God; we’ll need to squint to tell the time. 39mm nails it…… well done Omega. Classic Watch from a classic Company. Just the therapy we need after all the chunky sports watches which I adore. It’s just brilliant to have the contrast. Keep it up Gringa; you’re a wonderful contrast yourself!
I love this piece. I don’t know if I’d reduce the size or not. I love 37 - 39mm dress and casual pieces.

I LOVE my CK859. Best purchase in AGES! As someone with large wrists, the lug length is perfect for me. It' s just a beautiful watch. The blue pops. (additional note. I have the same mike and same stand.... I hate the stand...but it's ok... haha.)
I’d love to see a 36-37mm case size but all in all this watch is beautiful and it’s a sleeper too. Having the hacking hours and same movement as the Seamaster 300 heritage it makes me wonder why the Seamaster 300 had to be so thick on the wrist! Great video Gringa. Keep making great Omega and other watch videos 😎
Fun video as always Britt! I agree 37mm would be better. I quite like it and it's definitely in consideration for my dress watch.
Hi Britt I’m a big fan of this watch however I do wonder how the dial will patina over time & the hour hand could do with a reduction in length so in my humble opinion it’s another great watch & an even better review. Thanks Hun & keep doing your thing. 🙏🏻👏👏👏👍

I love the co-axial escapement in my 231.13.43.52.03.001
Excellent points on the strap and dail size, however, on the water resistance, I find 3ATM not to be acceptable now a days, I would say 5atm minimum (post Covid when you have to wash your hands 20 times a day!!!)
Stunner! I love a vintage look and a small seconds. Good point about the size. I recently bought a Tissot Heritage Petite Seconde. I love the dial. Classy looking watch. But it's 42mm. 40mm would have been better; 38mm would have been much better, and I have eight inch wrists. I get that they want to sell what's trending, but I'm with you on this, Britt. A smaller size would have added to the vintage look and feel, and overall experience with this watch. But if I had Scrooge McDuck money, I'd still buy one.
Great review, as always! Also, really cool to hear you on Watchfinder’s channel. What’s the lug to lug on this watch?
Based on my AD the watch has been discontinued. Did a quick search on Google and saw some mentioning too.
You are right. I also think the diameter should be 37mm for dress watch. Especially, white color dial looks expansive which makes the dial even bigger than real size.
They could shrink it by a few millimeters by ditching the extra minutes scale. I don't understand why there are two of them. Yes, the hour hand is also too long, but the blued hands are a nice touch.

The bulk of the hour hand is inside the bulk of the minute hand is outside the line. I like it and the escapement is very cool enough said thanks
Agree, 39mm is too big for a supposedly discreet dress watch. It’s only 30m WR so it’s clearly not an everyday wear.
Purchased this watch a few days ago and I'm completely in love with it.
Hell yeah. Before even clicking on the video I went and enquired online about the size of that beautiful dial. Much to my dismay it was indeed 39mm. Not that I cant wear it (7’ wrist here), but im very much on the lookout for smth dressier within the 36-38mm range (that doesnt have a 50mm lug to lug, that is - yeah im looking at you Nomos). Bummer.
I think it’s a nice, clean looking watch. It doesn’t really speak to me though. It seems we’re seeing a plethora of clean/somewhat minimalist-styled watches right now - think nomos, moser et al - and less isn’t always more. Also, has a slight field watch vibe - maybe because of the strap. 39 is definitely not too big - I actually like a 39 or 40 on a dress watch - though a lot can depend on the dial/bezel ratio etc. I like the thick strap but think it would be nicer though in a darker brown. 6k pounds seems very steep for this watch quite honestly.
i agree about the size. 39mm is good but for a dress watch smaller is better. To an extent, at least.

@BrittPearceWatches

Right?! Such a gorgeous watch deserves a strap as well thought out as the watch itself!
Nice looking watch, great movement. Thickness spot on, but 1 to 2 mm Increased case would suit me better. A light coloured ostrich leather strap would’ve be awesome.
Dress watch. I would wear a dress watch once a month. So hand wind is great for me. Auto wind would be useless and you would need to set the time each time you wear it and wind it anyways. So a thinner watch is needed. Daily use is better to wear an automatic. IMO.
Very nice indeed. I notice a few folk think it’s maybe a little large. Personally, I think it’s a great size, you must bear in mind the slim profile of the manual wind. I like it how it is, maybe the strap is the weakest point of the watch. I could see how a 36mm would be a good option for many wanting the smaller size, why not do both. If Carlsberg made marketing decisions….. 😊

You know! I made this video and released it.... Then after releasing, we had a friend over who tried on this watch. He has quite large wrists, and he tried this on.... omg it looked absolutely perfect on him! It made me eat my own words on how this is too big!
First, I love this watch and would put it at the top of my 2022 best watch list, and 39mm is fine by me, but I am a guy with wrists that can pull it off. "Omega Girl?" Well I vote that you are the last and final word in talking watches! HAHA. Also, I hit on the hour hand being to big too. But I am more stuck on the number font. I get that it appears to be a matching font to a 1939 version, but a small update like a font more along the lines of a 1950/60s Seamaster would have been nice. Great video as always Gringa, and you should let "Editing Brittany" out at the end of every video, she rocks. Long live the Cult.

Great video, and lovely watch, thank you. I agree with all your observations, but I don't really see it as a 'dress watch', in the pure sense; there is too much going on the (admittedly lovely) dial, for that. In my opinion, it would be a great 'dressy daily watch', but I would have liked it better if they had managed to get it up to 5ATM.
Hey Brit! I would like your opinion. Here’s my current collection: Oris Aquis Date Green Dial, Rolex Pepsi, Tudor ban 58 Blue, Tudor BB Chrono Reversed panda and Omega Planet Ocean. Lack dial. I kinda feel, like I have enough divers and maybe need a dress watch. I’m on the waiting list for a Rolex Submariner No Date and/or an Oyster Pepertual Silver dial. Part of me feels, like getting a Submariner would be overkill since I already have 3 diver watches. What’s your thoughts? Any thoughts on a dress watch under $10K? I was thinking about a Longines.

Absolute stunning watch! As for the mic arm....it's not long for the chopping block me thinks. They are fine when you're on radio but for visual content 👎 in my opinion.
I agree 36 or 34mm. With at least 50 meters W/R. Never know when you may stagger into the pool at the club after a few too many.
I am coming around to a straight steel winder, but a precious metal case has to be the winner for the high end dress look. There is a current trend for brown, utility leather straps - which are only suitable if you are going to ride to the Savoy on a horse. Your new audio arm looks as if the Terminator is reaching into frame to snatch your Mic.

39 mm may be a bit large for a dress watch, but 11.7mm is too thick for a manual wind watch. I really wish Omega would work on making its movement a lot thinner. The watch profile would look better if it was 2mm thinner. As it is it seems like the bezel is far too thick and disproportional from the rest of the case. My 2 cents...
