I'm seeing why John Osteen passed the torch to Joel Osteen. Joel deserves the pastors chair after his father passed away. John Osteen will never be forgotten. He got down on this video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ This man can preach.

He was a friend of my late grandfather. John Osteen was a soft spoken man, especially on the telephone, but behind that pulpit he was a roaring lion!

Joel is the smiling preacher his Dad was The Dancing Preacher! Praise be To God. His Dad was an excellent Preacher and Servant Of God!❤❤❤

Joel is WONDERFUL and I love listening to him. However, For the first time I understand why in the beginning Joel kept saying that he didn't think he could follow in his father's footsteps...that he was more quiet and reserved. JOHN WAS ELECTRIC.

Yes, and Amen! I grew leaps and bounds under his ministry. G-d used him mightily in my life. He was still so approachable! I considered him my spiritual father and could not believe when I heard he'd passed on in 1999! I'm thankful for these timeless messages here on KZread!! ❤

It shows you don't know the difference between motivational false teaching and powerful teaching. Mr. John Osteen is a man of God with fire 🔥. Mr. Joel Osteen is simply a motivational speaker. One is operating by the unction of the Holy Spirit while one is operating by the power of the spirit of this age. They're not the same except in facial features. 😂

Go heal the sick and hear people attribute that to demonic spirits. His father too faced his own criticism in his own time. Jesus was called a demon, David’s own men tried to stone him. Chudi get out of your comfort zone. There is so much work to be done in the kingdom. Joel is fulfilling his ministry. Thank God he is not working for you and he is in my generation!

Ok, he's saying God is good with a couple vs and cheering but what is it a pep rally? I am sorry to be disrespectful, I just don't get it. Maybe it was relevant to the era.

Totally different style but just as effective. His son has to preach in the way he's most comfortable preaching. If he tried to imitate his father, he would come across as insincere. It's bad enough people have been trying to find anything they can to bring Joel down. Think of how bad it would be if his preaching style wasn't even his own.

God is Holy & Love. He loves us with a genuine & with a great love. He expects a believer to show his love for Him. If a believer obeys Jesus ' commands then he truly loves Him. If he knows that God is Holy he would give God the Reverence that belongs to Him. ( please read St. John 14: 21, 23, 24 ; Psalm 111: 9 ) . Church should not be a place of entertained but Must be fir edification, instruction in righteousness, correction etc. so that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good work) . ( 2 Timothy 16,17) ; Everyone must stand at the Judgment seat of Christ to give account. So how careful a believer should be. Much more one who leads the congregation. ( Romans 14:10, 11,12).

I sure do miss, John Osteen. I pray that one day his son, Joel, finally picks up his dad’s mantle... They are soooooo different, and not in a good way unfortunately.

This brother was gold. When Joel was appointed he was found as Pliable (See Pilgrim's Progress). His daddies people were removed. New directors came in to market the church and Joel. Joel sold his soul and made merchandise of the people of God.

Joel has a different calling. A very powerful one. Warfare against the spirit of condemnation.

Joel is nothing like his Father. he doesn't even know about Jesus and what jesus taught. The things he says is unreal. I can't believe all those people go to see joel. All of his books and the money he has. Really. He needs prayer to get things right. Having people like Oprah on who murdered children and ran a child trafficking ring under her home. He likes the show and that's all it is. I used to watch John and I liked him. I'm 73 and Joel should have never taken over that church. Joel believes in things that God does not approve of and people are blind to it. he's not a Pastor. He's a motivational speaker. Big difference. I've been saved for 52 years. I can't watch him. people are suffering and he takes their money.
