March 23/2024 Very powerful. I love how he backed every word he spoke with chapter and verse. So many today are inspirational speakers, you walk into a church and the Pastor will not quote one scripture from the Bible. Lakewood church from Pastor John to Joel Osteen have always preached straight from the Bible. Pastor John was indeed called of God. What a blessing to humanity.

Thank you for providing these precious recordings! Praise The Lord!

Can i find a church like this today??? One thats not scared to battle the enemy and encourage others to fully commit to God! One that teaches and lives the word of God! Thank you Lord for this message! Amen

He’s a Great Preacher ! Joel has just modernized the message to where it can reach more people and be relatable This type of preaching only reaches a limited group of people. Turns a-lot of people away. The loud shouting doesn’t reach these newer generations of believers.

This is the Lakewood church and John Osteen I remember! My family and I went there and most likely were there when this sermon was preached! My mom played the flute in the praise team back in this year! This is literaly the 1st church(MY 1st church) that I remember going too when I was 4 or 5 years old! Amen ,this was my church back in the day I was baptized there I stood in the line for prayer many times John pray over me Dodie pray over me. There was a mighty mighty move in the church back then when they were on East Mount Houston Road. But unfortunately when John passed that was it. Joel clearly made it known that he did not want to become a pastor. He was the guy behind the camera and that where he wanted to stay..I remember the day his father passed that next Sunday he preached his first sermon and it's all HISTORY from there . He doesn't preach Victoria does what she does up there. and I have seen so many speakers that are not Spirit-filled Christians up their speaking. The only Spirit-filled person that I seen come visit that church and pastor for a few times was Marcus LAMB .the rest of them are not pastors and UOU know exactly who I'm talking about there's a handful of them that always go there. You had John Gray there for a long time until he took over Ron Carpenters Church in Georgia. So that church is desperately looking for a full-time Pastor because Joel has clearly made it clear that he is looking for a pastor to take over the pulpit. Very sad very sad not only that those people are not being taught the word of God they are being led astray and when you're a pastor you are going to stand before God and you will be held to a higher standard for leading people astray and not preaching the word. Don't get me wrong Joel has a good heart but he is not a pastor so he should have step down already or found a good pastor for the church to continue the Legacy of the Oasis of love his father worked hard to get that church where. It was and Joel did not not do the right thing . Back then the Osteen family live in a regular 60 $70,000 home if that much. The love of money is the root of all evil

@@cherylriley2753 thank you for sharing. I met Dodie (she came to our church in El Paso) in 2015. I was suffering from fibromyalgia and she did a healing line. She layer hands on me and prayed and it flew off of me! I saw a black cape spirit thing! It was demonic. She lauded hands on hundreds that day and she was in her 80’s. It’s just a shame that John Osteen’s church and teachings have gone so worldly. Many being entertained but not knowing the truth. You’re right money took over

No they didn't go to Heaven...hell or anywhere else. Listen to what the Lord God says...''for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return''. So wheres brother Osteen and your mom? We were taken from the dust of the ground and thats where you return until the resurrection. for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. ''Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice''... let the Bible speak for it self...where are they when they hear His voice? Are they in heaven...No! In purgatory? No! Floating around on a cloud? No! When the dead hear His voice at the resurrection they are dead in their graves. Lets continue...''And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation''. OK now think...where do they come forth from...Heaven? Purgatory? Floating cloud? NO!!

What a powerful and practical sermon. This man was an anointed man of God. We need more like him. One should listen to this again and again.

See How Much he Glorifies God and Uses the name of Jesus? At least every 60 to 70 seconds...Now listen to Joel....I pulled up a sermon of his and it was 11 Minutes before he mentioned God...sad.

John Osteen is not afraid to challenge and speak that the enemy does exist. Many preachers don't speak of the enemy and just focus on making you feel good. John challenges you and speaks with power! Jesus is present!

I remember one night at his church, the group I came had had trouble with the bus. John found out about and offered to give 3 of our group a ride back to the center that we stayed at. I was one of the three chosen. I had to be escorted up front by security and John put his hand on my shoulder and led me out to his car. This was shortly after Lisa opened the package that had a bomb in it and was hospitalized. Security stood outside until John pulled away from the church. Lisa was still in the hospital at this time, because pastor called her on his cell when he got into the car. John should would drive fast. He is truly a man of God and I am glad to have personally met him.

There is a place, somewhere, and I will not give up, until I find it. I had no idea, this man, was such a treasure, at the time, he walked in this earth. My hope is God never changes, and he still love us,band uses people.

John preached from the Bible and now it’s a disgrace what Joel is doing he is not even teaching from the Bible and all it is, is motivational speaking with prosperity.

After all these years...John Osteen can always make you feel saved, protect and comforted by the Lord Jesus Christ. I was in Lakewood church for a week as a guest in an International meeting in 1998.God bless his soul
