Wow he could still do that nutty professor voice even at his advanced age ! Amazing ! Jerry was a genius. And of course can't forget Stella. I think all of us young boys fell in love with her when we first saw her in this picture with Jerry. Especially because she was the girl that was sweet and had a good heart, but was untouchable for every nerd like myself, because she was too hot looking. And yet, the professor get's her at the end of the movie. That gave all of us nerds hope.

The scene in The Nutty Professor with Jerry and Del Moore (as Dr. Warfield, Shakespearean actor!) is an absolute scream! There is a hilarious outtake of Jerry totally losing it over how funny Del is!!

Del Moore was on radio. Part of Jack Benny's group of zanies, at one point. An announcer as part of his stuff in The Big Show with Tallulah Bankhead(daughter of FDR's Speaker of the House, who was a real good actress and had her own show), and a few others. I loved his combination of side men. Had Charlie Callas with him in The Big Mouth, and the bartender on here was in at least one other film with him.

Is it the BEST Jerry Lewis movie of all the Lewis movies I had seen? YES! I've seen it several times and still get a good laugh in the script lines. I have a book - an autobiography of Jerry that was written in the 1980's. It was one quick book to read and treasure. One of my older sisters has it now on loan. (Hope she's enjoying it too). Several memories of Jerry's famous Muscular Dystrophy shows over the decades I remember that were performed on Labor Day weekends. The man loved the "special need(s) kids" and did a great deal of fund raising with those shows. The guest he had were great...the famous and not so famous. There will most likely never be another exact copy of comedian, Jerry Lewis. We could use a man in his prime like Lewis now in 2021.

I met Stella Stevens sitting around a dinner table. I told her that I had a mad crush on her ever since "Nutty Professor." She was incredibly kind and sweet, considering how many times she'd probably heard that.

My dear brother introduced me to watching Jerry Lewis's "The Nutty Professor". It was hilarious, surreal and genius comedy filmography I had ever seen when I was around 8/9 years. This film was aired on BBC2 in 70's. Even when I watch it now, I fully respect the multi-talented genius of Jerry Lewis. It was to me sheer movie gold. Lewis was creatively, technically and physically 50 years before his time in Hollywood. Nowadays everyone is multi-faceted in this way in the entertainment, movies business and other careers. Lewis had inspired so many people in the business like comedians, actors, actresses and those behind the camera; in what creativity was all about. Jerry Lewis like all the Hollywood Greats will go down history, studied intensively by students of the stage and arts within colleges, universities etc.,. Rest in eternal peace Mr Lewis. Thank you so much for your rich, exuberant, colourful, slapstick comedy contribution to the arts.

I know. For some reason kids just don't like the black and white films or TV shows. To me, that was always the better quality of acting and entertainer. I wish you luck. There is a lot of comedy on here. My brother use to get DVD's from Sun Coast, but I heard that went out of business and that it is easier to get them on a computer company, like Netflix. Keep checking KZread, though. They have a ton of stuff I haven't seen in decades. Elvis in Charro! How cool was he in that?

What were the other 99 films that were funnier than this one? I bet half of them were pieces of shit or so topical that they're no longer funny! The Nutty Professor is timeless... At least half, probably 3/4 of the comedies made in the last 30 (if not 50) years AREN'T. Again, too much with the emphasis on topicality, fart jokes, and gross-out humor.
