Interesting.... Seems like someone has been watching Star Trek: Voyager. Miss Hanson seems a lot like 7 of 9, who's pre-assimilation name was Anika Hanson. They also spent a lot of time looking for a Cube. :-)

Grateful and Confused I am grateful that writing and sharing fan fiction is legal with Conan Doyle’s Sherlock character. I like that writers are providing us with many options to enjoy. However, I’m not sure how to share my thoughts about this story… 1) How can a replacement cube safe be opened by the staff that would use the combination for the previous safe? 2) If the thief could have the new safe combination set the same as the old safe, then he could have simply opened the safe. Did I miss something?? I’m taking meds so maybe I did and just can’t find it.

Well, that's a good point. I looked and only found a scene where Watson and Holmes first see the safe and it is open. I'm assuming it was found open and empty. But there was a reference to other documents put in the safe nightly after meetings. Are they also gone? This was not explained well at all. I'm going to assume it was found open.

I am not happy with this author, as in the title image, claiming that the author has written this book together with Conan Doyle: "CONAN DOYLE & NORA GODWIN"

I suspect Ms Godwin is doing it to show respect to Conan Doyle, but it is odd to me too. For those who aren’t familiar with “fan fiction” it can easily be seen as a deceptive action.
