The Nest is a 2020 psychological thriller film[5][6] written, directed, and produced by Sean Durkin. It stars Jude Law, Carrie Coon, Charlie Shotwell, Oona Roche, and Adeel Akhtar. It had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2020, and was released in the United States and Canada on September 18, 2020, by IFC Films and Elevation Pictures respectively.

What about the boy who saw the dead half buried horse breathing. How did the horse resurface from a deep grave? What was the meaning there?
I liked it although it completely wasn't what I expected.
I enjoyed this. Definitely on the verge of being a thriller, and I think that’s where a lot of people’s disappointment came from, when they were expecting a thriller. My confusion was, they clearly didn’t live in NYC, even though he said that’s where they moved from. I would just take that as a lie, considering it wouldn’t be out of character for Rory. But even in the descriptions for this film, it says they moved from NYC… But that house they’re shown in, in the beginning doesn’t look like NYC, so I’m confused about this.
I did not understand the wife trying to dig up the horse near the end of the film........
