Sounds like Fallon knows he is really talking to William Campbell Shears, AKA Billy Shears, and making a sly joke about him doing a good impersonation of McCartney. It’s so obvious when you just look at the pix of PM through 1966, and the incoming BS from 1967. Right in plain sight. That said, BS is an amazing musician in his own right. It would just be great if he quit the charade....

They show Tonight Show with Johnny Carson on Antenna TV every night, and every time I watch I can't help but think the EXACT SAME THING. Johnny was a master because he knew how to LISTEN. He was engaging and bright and funny, but it was never about him. It was about the guest. So true. I miss Letterman. Dave became a very good interviewer as the years went on. Not at first. Closest I've seen to Carson/Letterman is Seth Meyers. It's on a little late, but when I have seen it, he's very good. He knows how to fucking listen!

LOL....it don't come easy for most drummers so Ringo only swept up until he was filthy rich. After they were famous Ringo used to tell Pete Best outside the studio to Back off Boogaloo

Quite obvious. But for most Beatle impersonators (or people who try) George is the hardest since he has the thickest Scouse accent.

no George and John have the thickest accents. and jimmy fallons impressions are always gobsmackingly good. if they are noticably off, then he intended them to be for comedic benifit

I've never known _anybody_ do convincing impressions of them. Their voices, particularly John's, are so hard to copy.
