The Nervous CPS Worker

This CPS worker, Katie Corbitt, that was instrumental in splitting up the siblings we were planning to adopt. We have 4 of the 5 siblings - the other sibling was adopted out to another family even though CPS told us we could have her.

I was very polite, pulled out my camera, started recording...And I called a friend on the phone(this was pre planned) pretending to be an investigated for me, he was on speaker. I told him the names of the dcf workers present, and that I wanted background checks on these dcf people. they said I couldn't do that, and I said, it is sop practice for me to investigate anyone coming to me accusing me of lies. they left and never heard a word back from them. Nah, this happened in 2006. Back then it wasn't normal for everything to be filmed. Plus she wasn't given the opportunity to have her own camera present as she was given no warning that it would be filmed. I know it seems normal now, but not that long ago it was considered rude and unnecessary to film everything. Plus, did you read the description? These are people trying to adopt these children, so why are they acting so hostile? This isn't a CPS investigation into bad parenting.

Elites can just hire someone to give birth for them, then they don't have to worry about random DNA that could have health or mental health problems. Why would they want to adopt kids illegally who are harder to raise, come with issues, etc? You and the others with these conspiracy theories clearly never grew up in the system or you would know better. The problem is that no one wants to raise these kids, not that they are in demand, get real. Next you're going to tell us that shelters steal people's dogs so they can sell them. SMDH

There are way too many government agencies. CPS is one of the most invasive and destructive to families. When she didn't want to be filmed, I would have asked her "what are you going to do that you don't want to be recorded?" Always record interactions with any government agencies for evidence and to prevent the "he said/she said" scenarios.

Record and video tape everything. Remember, even the police will back up the worker before you-and remember that if it goes that far. These workers will use any bit of power as leverage. I find it interesting that there are children in drug infested homes, and people like this get children taken away all the time. Do not. Be. Afraid. STAND up for your rights.

They walked around looking into every drawer and door. They had me show them my prescription medicines. NOW I know better but I came so close to losing my child to my violent ex, because CPS people acted like they had every right and I had none. Even in court, they flat out made up things I never said. If I knew then what I know now, I would have recorded every minute. However ... currently where I live, several good families have been recording CPS inspections and interviews and CPS told them it was against the law to record them if they said "no." But it's in the papers and on the news, it's no longer happening behind closed doors!

They had 2 portable closets 1 chest of drawers and 1 Queen sized bed for all of them to sleep on. We were the happiest kids on the planet. We weren't abused. Heck at one time our niece (I have a sister who was much older) came to stay with us. The CPS worker came and checked on her. She was never removed from our home by CPS or police. I legitimately don't understand why anyone would not be comfortable with a camera rolling if their intent was pure. It doesn't just protect the family either. People tend to mind their manners more when they know they are being taped. If they were going to jump her and kill her or worse, would they tape it? Probably not. If you have nothing to hide, you won't mind the interaction being recorded for future reference. Also, if it's in your own home, you get to decide when amd what to film. It's your home.

Every video of CPS workers seem to be the same. The CPS workers are argumentative and easily agitated. This just shows how shady some of these case workers are and can be. I think in some cases that government agencies do not communicate with each other and the case worker goes to a home with no clue. When the parent or parents explain the situation then the case worker is caught off guard. All the case worker knows is that a form has to be signed and that is all they can focus on.

My half sister and I were taken and I can tell you so many horror stories it's ridiculous! I should have went to my father, but they claimed they didn't know where he was. They never notified him that I was in state custody. My mother told them where he was. They tracked him for child support payments. But I never got to see him after I was taken from my mom. He used to come get me for visits, but never knew where I was once they took me. He died in a group home last April. Alone and labeled crazy after the government took all his assets. He wasn't crazy. He wanted his daughter and after his mother died he had nobody. They notified me as next of kin in order to take care of his final arrangements. He was a marine before I was born. And worked as a security guard for years. Allowed to carry a gun, I have his gun permit and old ID's. You can see him deteriorate once they took him and put him on all kinds of meds. He wasn't crazy, he was alone and begging for me. Like I was looking for him but no one would help. So he was depressed. The group home he was in broke my heart to see how he was living. They took everything from him. They driving B.M.W's, gold Rolex watches, huge rocks on their fingers. Because they stole his house, and made him sell off life insurance policies. In order to live in the group home you can't own anything. The system failed us twice. I should have went to him as a child, but they hid and abused me. I suffer from PTSD, and can't stand to be touched. Then they should have notified me as next of kin if he couldn't care for himself. I would have set an extra place at my dinner table for him. He would have had grandchildren to play with. And a reason to live. They thought he was lying when he claimed to have a daughter. Thought it was crazy nonsense and just drugged him up. Of course he was depressed. He supposedly choked on food. Group home lady said that he choked once before because he gobbled his food. Well after seeing his skinny body, he looked like he didn't eat very well. But they'll notify you when there's nothing left but a body they expect you to do something with. Good thing is I figured out how to bury him in a military cemetery at no cost to me because I don't have any money. I know he had life insurance before they took him, maybe he still does hidden somewhere because he wasn't a stupid man. The group home went through everything before I could come get his stuff and took what they wanted. I feel they took paperwork he had in binders. These people taking kids, and adults are evil!!

0O00OO0O00OO0O00OO I'm glad that I didn't go to live with him because I had a younger sister to protect in the foster home. But I missed the rest of my life with him, and had to grow up fast. I took the sexual abuse, and my little sister was safe from it. I wouldn't have been abused by my father's family. Back in the 80's we didn't have internet to try to find him. But they knew where he was. They get money for taking people's children. If I would have went to my father, they wouldn't have gotten money for taking care of me. I tried looking for him on Facebook. I never got married even though I've been with a man for 19 years, and we have 3 beautiful children that all have his last name. I never wanted to change my last name in case he looked for me. I called the police in the city I knew he was living and working in. Told them he was security guard there in a Museum, but I had no way of getting around, or knowledge of that huge city. Where to start. Asked police if they could give him my info so he could contact me. They refused and I had no way to get to him. I feel bad. But we have technology now, Facebook. He was just old school and wasn't on anything. He left paperwork for me because he knew I'd be notified next of kin, in order to get him buried. He knew I'd take care of him. He told people to find me, doctor and group home. They thought he was crazy and didn't have a daughter. They were all shocked when I showed up to collect his things. All I'm left with is memories and a folded flag. But I believe I was supposed to protect my sister. She shouldn't have been alone, and you have to play the hand you've been dealt. I have PTSD from being abused, but I protect my children with my life. These people will never steal and abuse my children!

0O00OO0O00OO0O00OO lol..I've often thought of doing that and I don't have any problems with CPS. Just because I don't trust the government. To govern means control. A guy went to jail because he made his house wind powered. They don't want you to be self sufficient. They want you to rely on them so they can control you. In some situations children do need to be taken from neglectful parents. Those kids I California that were chained to beds and not fed for example. There are a lot of bad parents doing drugs, beating, and even killing their children. I don't know your situation. But if I thought they were going to take mine, I'd run. Every parent has the right to protect their child. I don't abuse my children, they are very well fed, all our bills are turned on, and they don't need cable or internet but they have it. If I felt like I was being backed into a corner, and I didn't have help getting them off my back, I'd run. Luckily if I would run into this problem I have someone that would help me beat the system. Someone within the system that wouldn't let them take my children. There are good people that just want to help the children. And I was moved into a better foster home than the first one I was in. That foster mother helped us get back home to my real parents, where we belonged. But I don't trust the system. They don't have to come in your home without a search warrant because even police can't do it unless they feel there is immediate danger inside. You don't have to let them see your children without a court order. Those children in California called 911, so they were in danger. That's why the police could enter to find them chained to beds and malnourished. If someone reports you, they say they can't tell you who reported you. That's a violation of the Constitution because you have a right to face your accuser, otherwise it's hearsay. They can't charge you on hearsay so you have a right to know who, and what you are accused of. So you can face your accuser and defend yourself. You don't have to open your door, or let them in. I'll find a better video and see if I can paste it here for you to see how to get them to leave, even with the police there.

Checkin out the Legal Kidnapping racket first hand.... Was adopted twice as a child... birth mother kept from finding her kids so she couldn't sue for what happened to us- died the same year I was adopted the second time... different county far away and never got to meet her, so CPS/DCF/DHHS(choose one?) could protect their industry... I managed to get some files they didn't torch... Later- same courts wrongfully terminated my parental rights via CPS at my son's mother's pursuit... Absolutely destroyed my life to do so... Suing in Federal Court- but it's still the same sham court system... Have since reunited with my son and have created an agreement outside the court, as the courts remain corrupt and lame. Even my son's mother has "seen the light" and knows what she did was wrong... Being labeled a "Child Thief" can have that affect... But it's systemic nation wide... My story is one of hundreds of thousands... I'm far from alone- it's what gets me through it. CPS/DCF/DHHS (choose one?) is an Industrial Complex that answers to no one or any authority... One of these days, these morally corrupt cowards are going to hurt someone who isn't as forgiving as I am. You can bet your backside I'm going to be there to remind people why... You think that critics are just disgruntled, lol... Can you try on the term "child thief" for size? That's what makes these people part of the problem... It's Conservative Capitalism- there is simply no money in solutions... The Family Courts are Conservative/Individualist and are driving this otherwise Liberal/Collectivist construct into the ground... Just as the worst people in history do. Hero complexes do that. Want someone who can connect the dots and articulate it as well? I'll be your huckleberry ;) I am a living testament that the "folks who do this work" are little more than professional child thieves with hero complexes... And I have many, many friends who know it too... The horror stories are true and real. Only the ignorant or the morally corrupt serve the Family Courts- or any US court for that matter...

Where did you get your information that it is the Conservatives who are behind this? So many homeschool families, which mostly are conservative, are having their children removed as well. This isn't a political problem, this is a greed problem, which covers both political parties.I WAS a Rep.but no longer trust them either. This country is being overrun by greedy people who don't care what happens to children and their families,as long as they get their cut of the money. The minute we make this out to be a political problem,we will get farther away from ever getting justice for our families,as a free people.

Conservative/Liberal are simply proxies of the source: Individualism vs. Collectivism: Are you only for yourself, or are you for other as well? No matter the race, culture, religion or economic/political construct, Individualism (Conservative) is only tolerant of those of it's likeness where as Collectivism (Liberal) is pretty much tolerant over everyone. History is replete with examples of Conservatives projecting their Individual ideals over a Collective whole (what I speak of regarding the Family Court construct). Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc, were all Conservative/Individualists who drove otherwise Liberal/Collectivist constructs into the ground. This was done to make way for a construct that is closest to Individualism: Conservative Capitalism. Aside from the political/economic perspective, Individualism has permeated our social environment, degrading the family unit and rendering families vulnerable to dysfunction. This in turn provides fodder potential to collectivist intended constructs that are otherwise meant to help mend dysfunction. Here is where the misunderstanding for most is hinged. What people don't know is that there exists an entire industrial complex from the Supreme Court on down to a local court's clerk's office. The judges at the top project their ideals over the Collective whole of the courts and about 2/3rds of court employee don't even think to question it. I have worked with numerous entities within the US Judicial System with whom I have a decent enough repore with to know things that I otherwise can't discuss with you unless measures were taken to ensure... civility... I have recently tried to sue all pertinent entities to the aforementioned in Federal Court, but had it tossed by a judge who had no legally permissible jurisdiction over the case... Another Individual projecting. At that point... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 - I had given the benefit of the doubt to "The Courts" 7 times in my life. I didn't even bother to file an appeal or a criminal complaint against this last judge... It OBVIOUSLY doesn't matter... I figured I'd stop feeding The Beast and I let it go... The people who run the Family Courts are ideologically inclined and are projecting their individual ideals over a collective construct. This projection, like all others in history, is general and commits a lot of collateral damage by not accounting for variables and exceptions. Those who are having their children removed likely aren't Conservative/Individualist at heart (as most have a heart for others), but are so simply through socialization. The one commonality of Individualists/Conservatives are that they are either ignorant or wealthy and never both. I am sincerely apologetic to say, but yes, it is a political problem. Not because of politics, but because Individualism is pervasive in the politics itself. Remember, political/economic manifestations are secondary and thus proxy to the source. Individualism is the "Me First-Phuc Them!!!" mentality that is even the primer for every civilian on civilian mass murder in modern civilization. McVeigh, Manson, Brevik and OBL were all Conservative/ Individualists of their own ideals. Remember, Individualism is only tolerant of it's likeness. There are some things that resemble Individualism in the physical world. On of them is a quantum singularity, ie, a black hole. It divides and consumes. Like greed and money... It collects in density and attracts conflict with other Individualist constructs. It's not just political, it's racial, religious, cultural and ultimately ideological. Liberal/ Collectivist Christians, Muslims, and Jews don't butcher themselves or each other, but Conservative/Individualist ones do. Simply put, Families are Collectivist, until they are not... .

Carson Thaler You have WAY too much time on your hands.FACT:Liberals are out for themselves,as well. This isn't a political thing, this is a sin issue. The heart of man is desperately wicked.Example :Liberals are for abortion.Wouldn't that mean that liberals are for themselves because they aren't thinking about this baby, they are thinking about getting on with 'their' life and how this baby is a burden to them,so abort the baby. That's just one example.

I have had but my life and the time given me. What I speak of exists regardless if it is me giving voice to it. "Liberals are out of themselves" is a subjective response that has no readily available counter only because it is not based in any falsifiable construct. It's just incitive rhetoric and indicative of an Individualistic tendency... You say it isn't a political issue, but I implore you to study what I speak of. If there are sound counters to what I speak of, then you should have no difficulty teaching them to me. But then, you must realize by now that this is not a new conversation for me, and if you are insightful enough, you'll realize that every encounter only helps me to hon the points I speak of. Sin is Individualistic as sin is a manifestation of the Individual self. Corruption begins with the Individual. The heart of man is many things. But as the joy of a baby will show you, man can be swayed either way. Yet we have a choice, no? Is it not interesting how Liberal/Collectivists are seen as pro-individual choice here while Conservative/Individualists are seen as concerned for all babies? This is intentional. The proxies have been inversed... If we review Individualism vs. Collectivism, we can see how Individualism is for the Individual self, while Collectivism is for everyone. Yet for abortion, it's been inversed to confuse people. If Individualism is antonym to life, then being "Pro-life" is Collectivist as Collectivism is for all... Conservative- to conserve or retain to the self. Selfish. Liberal- as In liberty or freedom, for all... Most "isms" are just proxies of the source: Individualism vs. Collectivism Are you for only yourself, or are you for others as well? You do realize that the Bible and Christ are Liberal/Collectivist constructs, no? No where is that demonstrated more profoundly then where Christ gave his Individual life to save the Collective whole... "Where two or more gather in my name" is a Collectivist Construct NOT and Individualist one... Please, I love you and mean you no harm... Please try not to knee jerk a response. All things are reconcilable with love. I implore you to be still enough to hear me and help us all find the better path :) What I speak of took me a bit to wrap my head around at first, as is for most people, but it's simple, fluid, elegant and solid as carbon- Individualism vs. Collectivism: Are you for only yourself, or are you for others as well?

Job well done! Remember people, record all conversations with your CPS worker whether it's Audio or Visual

I honestly wish that I knew that last week. It has been a horrible horrible nightmare since and it just seems to get worse. :'( I feel bullied and like nothing is good enough for these people. My house is immaculate and it is apparently filthy enough to threaten to take my children. They told us that now we are being placed on a 'child abuse' data base. In turn this will cause my fiance to lose his cna license and me to not be able to finish my hire process at the local preschool/daycare.

The Adoption and Safe Families Act provides cash “bonuses” to the states for every child they adopted out of foster care. CPS is incentivised to acquire more merchandise (children) for sell, It is the policy of CPS to serve the courts (keep the federal dollars flowing), not the families. The whole system is corrupt.

This family is very respectful and cooperative. When the mother says, "So-and So.. said for me to..." the worker has no proof of the conversation the mother had with the other worker; so, it never happened. Smart caregivers know to record, get everything in writing, and keep a journal of every phone call and conversation. (Part 2)

This sux, I cannot believe they are not willing to keep those kids together. You have this wonderful couple willing to adopt them all yet cps splitting them up. These kids have obviously been rejected in some way by their parents and these people want to adopt and keep them together. Unbelievable the way this works. The children should always be first priority and splitting them up is not.

WHICH LAWS ALLOW PEOPLE LIKE HER TO KEEP A JOB? I hate the way she puts people down like they are sooooo dumb. She and her colleagues just make assumptions and write them down in reports like it's fact...no proof required! And CPS records never change or go away even if there is proof that they are false. This world is so corrupt.

I just saw this video, and I was wondering if you have any updates on this situation? What a shame to prevent all of the children from being adopted together. How could anyone rip a child from their siblings, especially when the adoptive parents were perfectly willing to take everyone. I wonder, do the 4 children you adopted have access to their other sibling at all, or a way to communicate with her? I wonder if that caseworker received some sort of bribe to get that child placed in a separate home. What kind of a person does that to someone's life? This woman is definitely not the kind of person who should be in a position of this nature. She has no empathy for the children she deals with, or the lives she ruins. I sure hope she is retired, or in another profession by now. What a broken system we have. Very sad.
