i just picked this up though an amazing deal i could not pass up... today is the 1st day and so far it very different feel .. so i need time to learn the functions... thanks for your video ... i feel confident in getting it..

This is good , but sometimes you need projected grid light as the Mag Mods give you on Godox AD200s

After I saw this video, I'm re-considering getting this light. Very nice.

I am thinking about getting one what remote trigger were you using on the Sony?

What about using it for video, is it enough? Compared to Godox AD 400 pro, it is tiny, isn't it?...

You can use with any transmitter with the built-in receiver but you lose the color temp control unless used with the recommended Elinchrom transmitter, from what I’ve read.

A rotolight with a speed light in the middle would be perfect.

Taking many pictures in continuous shooting, is NOT high speed sync! When you go over your sync speed on your camera (1/250sec) then you use HSS Just for information..

ATG & Paul C. Buff were correct. So much hype in marketing the round weak light. But the Paul C. Buff's DB800. The LED on this awesome has more power than this Roto Rooter down the drain. Then add the Vagabond & you are ready to travel anywhere.

Not at all, but based on these vids, if the day is bright and your talent is in shadow, it can function as a fill flash.

@@arthurlbn depending on the time of day no, it will add to the ambient but not overpower it, but in most cases neither will a speedlight, if you want to completely overpower the sun you will be looking more on the 200-360w range

Hi Arthur, as the others have already mentioned, this is not the light to overpower the sun. It will absolutely function as a fill to get rid of any harsh shadows during that bright sunlight time, and work amazingly in lower light situations. For more power, please check out the AEOS or the Anova PRO 2. Hope that helps!

No one should shoot at high noon. In dusk or dawn it can be used with decent results. Serious sun your gonna need more power especially when you diffuse your strobe.

That isn't the point of this video.

little over priced. the batter life sucks on this device, so keep them plugged in all the time. feels cheap and plastic feel. Could be built better!

So crappy light that major camera stores can't sell it much. 50% off because ATG's lights are a much better power & prices. Camera stores got scammed & fooled big time. Because you must add more price for one transmitter.
