That scene with Nemesis chasing you down the fiery hallway is a nice use of second-person gameplay. Also notable that the game uses first-, second-, and third-person perspectives all within the span of ten minutes.

I really didn´t notice it was Megaman. I have played the 8-bit ( and some 16-bit) Megaman games in the past and he sure doesn´t look anything like that figure, but I dunno if they´ve changed it somewhere along the road. At least the original Megaman doesn´t look liket that :)

Have you seen the shit RE protagonists endure and be just fine? Look at re2 remake as an example. The first G slamming leon against hard metal then falling into hard floor would leave any normal person with at least a few broken bones and heavy internal bleeding... but their bodies are like made of titanium I guess lmao

Just a tip for you mark if you ever see this When you do enough damage to nemesis and you stun him, he relinquishes a useful item so be sure to pick those up.

1:18:30 I know he’s just poking fun but ITS LITERALLY AN APOCALYPSE that has been off and on for YEARS. His remarks about finding exploding barrels and weapon parts and ammo all makes sense though, of course people would make a desperate attempt to hide supplies and make traps like that. I’m sure originally there weren’t gun parts and ammo in that train station puzzle but a worker may have put them there as a backup in case they needed to come back later and use it. Probably didn’t want anyone else stealing the supplies so they hid the gems. Makes sense if you just think about it from the character’s perspectives.

Fun Resident Evil fact: The car that Jill drives into nemesis is the same car that Ethan Winters Drives in RES:7 but just in a different color.

Watching this in January of 2022, and I gotta say, that opening scene feels way to real and relatable to the modern world
