The Mystery of Kyron Horman

Ойын-сауық

Kyron Horman was excited to show off his science project. However, after his step mother, Terri Horman, waved at him as he walked to class, he marked absent, and mysterious disappeared. After the disappearance of Kyron Horman, many other bizarre things would happen, and the last person to see Kyron, Terri Horman, would only act more and more suspicious.

Hate that this the outcome for her, but it does show the unwavering devotion and love from mother to child. There is a dichotomy of purity of love, and the tragic disgusting crime from a supposed somewhat "surrogate" parent and a child into a mixed family. Not at all saying that there is a large proportion of mixed families that don't work or end in tragedy, my point is more the comparative nature to contrast between such diametric opposites. And overall how tragic yet beautiful that a mothers love is so powerful.

Can confirm I went to this school when this happened and he was there, photographic evidence, student and teacher testimony, and then he was gone. All of us were shocked because how could he just disappear? We were a school of 300 total (kindergarten through 8th grade), all of us were friends and knew each other’s families. There’s no way someone unknown walked into the school and was not stopped and asked what they were doing there, who their kid was, etc. Once my uncle came to pick me and my sister up and no one at the school knew him and so he was stopped from getting more than a couple steps into the building. It all points back to Terri.

She also stated the last time she saw him was when he was walking to class but there was no record of him being at school after Terri left. There is like a 1 in a million chance that a stranger took him in the school building in the ten min it took for her to last see him and class to start. Or that he wondered outside and someone took him in the ten min she saw him walking to class and class starting? Nothing about her story adds up. She lied and he must have left with her. It’s the only reason he left his stuff and didn’t cause a seen when he disappeared and it’s the only story that fits the time line.

I can’t imagine. I remember my parent’s lost me in a crowd as a child for ten minutes and my Mom was inconsolable. She said it felt like 10 hrs. And I know it’s not the same, but my dog ran off a few weeks ago and I felt my whole world caving in. I burst into tears when he ran towards me after twenty minutes. Loss and be unknown is horrific. Prayers to this family.

I was in a clothes shop the other day and because I am in a wheelchair and down low I saw a child hiding under a clothes rack. I whispered to him laughing if he was playing hide and seek and he said no I can't find my mam and I am scared. Obviously I told him to come with me and we would get her. The look of terror on his mothers face will haunt me, Imagine feeling that way for months or years. He had been gone 10 minutes and there had been announcements on the tannoy but I had ear phones in and hadn't heard it, and those who had, couldn't see him because he was hiding.. Stuff like that terrifies me, what if he had stayed hiding (because he had been told not to speak to strangers,) seems the fact I was in a wheelchair made him feel safe enough to talk to me.

So he suffocated him and placed him in a river. This happened less than 7 years ago and he’s getting out in a few years. Even admitted to murder and copped a plea deal. It doesn’t get a lot of attention because the family hired lawyers and tried to shut down information on the son. Please I’m begging you. No one covers it.

This is by far one of the saddest stories I've seen. My heart aches for the parents, the torment they have endured for so many years....not knowing, but probably knowing in their hearts Kyron has died. Not even being able to bring him home and lay him to rest...how does any parent ever live with that ?? I am astounded that Terrie hasn't been charged ; huge gaps in that day she can't account for, she had motive, she was the last person with him, plus all the witnesses who say they saw her leave the school with Kyron. I hope one day he is found and his parents can finally lay him to rest 💔

This case breaks my heart. His greatest fear was not finding his way home and he has been lost for 10 damn years! I believe the step mother had Kyron believing he had a doc appointment that day. They went set up his project. Did that bit then she told him she would take him and bring him back. He could leave his coat and bag because they wouldn't be long. She killed him and her friend having access to things like lime helped her put the body deep enough and covered enough that he won't be found. Most bodies are found because people don't take the time to bury it properly. If you have the tools and the time a body simply won't be found. The best friend and muscles the step mom could have prepared a grave prior for that matter. I hope that woman sees Kyron ever time she closed her eyes.

Jacob exactly!! There’s a couple stories I’ve seen recently where the woman or girl (bc the ones I’m referring to like 3 or 4 of them they were all female) and one of them had a terrible fear of going out at night bc she was afraid of getting abducted, as a teenager she did get abducted right outside her home and was never seen again. Another one was terrified of the dark bc she feared “a stalker she couldn’t see” and sure enough... you guessed it!! Crazy!! I wonder if there’s some kind of lifelong foreboding or intuition at play here... in stories like this!

The police have exonerating evidence that they have never released to the public. I believe she is innocent. Someone on reddit did a deep dive in depth analysis on the whole case and hD a very convincing argument. There was no time for her to hurt him and dispose of his body. The cops tracked her phone and every move. They tried over and over to prove it was her and failed. They know it wasn't her. He would have been found. Terry raised Kyron from an infant. He wasn't some random step kid. She had NO MOTIVE either. Think of Leticia Stauch. The way she commited that crime. This would have ended up the same way.
