Here's something for your iceberg. Sprout is part unicorn. His great ancestors were Big Mac and Sugar Bell. This explains his red coat, blonde mane and green eyes color scheme. Its also why he is the only pony in g5 to have the nickname of "Sugar Cube" which he was called several times in the movie.

These videos are a lotta fun! The iceberg is definitely a lot bigger now with MYM, TYT, the comics, and the “yearly” Pippcast which makes me wonder about how the canon is gonna work and how all of it will change when the status quo eventually evolves.

I can imagine Eridan with your voice and it’s pretty fitting.

Something tells me Twilight's sacrifice had to do about the way ponies would just never look the same....and something also tells me that the mean 3 villains succeeded but were probably defeated again at a later time. That or we're still to see them again.... I think twilight knew for the ponies to realise how important harmony is towards all magical creatures....first they had to lose it.

​@@TobbyMLP What if Twilight didn't sacrifice herself due to a magic crisis but more so was close to losing all her magic so she put it with in the amulet giving it to pony tribe guardians? I know the assumption is that Luster Dawn has to be Twilight's successor due to what is implied, however in FIM itself it's confirmed that Celestia had 100s of students before Twilight and had been at risk of herself and Equestria's collapse which is why finding a successor is key. This had been alluded to in FIM multiple times. Luster Dawn could have even inherited or had a destiny in a far off kingdom but not Equestria itself (Think back to Cadence, she was Celestia's student but her destiny was to be a crystal princess, not her successor) There had been many times that Celestia said that the mane 6 was "crucial" and Equestria would "fall" without them. It could be that Equestrias collapse is what Celestia was referring to. Twilight tried everything, but since she found no pony and no pony could take over her rule, she sealed her magic away. It could be that based on the mural, after the amulet was made, Equestria went back to being lead by Unicorns, Pegsai and Earth ponies like ancient Equestria (It's not like Alicorns are that common anyways, since ponies have to do incredible deeds which in itself is already rare). Throughout the unicorn, Earth pony, and Pegsai ruling, too many fights and arguments about how it should be run probably started as well as decay in general since ponies don't live as long as Alicorns and can't have an easily prosperous reign. With no new rulers to rule, Equestria began to collapse and there were likely arguments on which ponies should rule and they all went to their separate pony kind district. Since friendship literally is magic and distrust was massive, this event along with each tribe taking their own amulet, caused all magic to disappear. Many wars probably happened afterwards, mainly about property and food since making food without assistance from tribes or magic was likely rough. The Earth ponies probably had technical assistance due to always being handy, pegsai likely got it based on also being handy with their hands/hooves. Unicorns always had an over reliance on magic, so as a result, they went back to the dark ages. If the mane 6 are alive, they're probably not as powerful as they once were. There was the tweet saying that Twilight "Won't outlive her friends". Meaning A. Twi and mane 6 are still alive, somehow, B. Twilight and her friends stayed close after Twilight's forced half successful retirement and they stayed together, friends till the very, very end.

@@ArtfulCosumDust I think that theory is also equally as possible as the main sacrifice theory that was discussed. You definitely bring up a lot of good and interesting points, but like I said somewhere in the video, I guess we'll just have to wait and see whether any of these theories about what happened to Twilight will have any truth to them or not.

@@TobbyMLP Same here. I'm very excited to see where this goes. In the mean time, it's at least fun to speculate. Some may even be true, like those that theorized Garnet was a fusion in SU before that was even revealed.

Just one thing with this "Spike is still alive" theory that bothers me. The comic told that Discord is still alive and caused some of the problems. So if Spike is alive and they both used to be (more or less) best friends, why didn't he stop Discord or at least tries to? And why then Discord was so down because of being alone for such a long time?
