That's a GT-3/5 engine, not anywhere near the most powerful you can put on a pedalbike like that. The actual powerful one is called a YD-100 and is what I run. You MIGHT get 30 hours out of that GT-3/5 before it either melts or breaks a piston ring (ask me how I know). Spend the extra $40 on the YD-100 and you'll thank me. It's also more powerful. I have 1400+ miles (~2250Km) on this engine. Those GT-3/5 engines really suck.

I have 2 yd100s people talk alot of crap about them but its just people that cant tune or dont want to deal with problems that everyone of these motors have but lets be honest the phantom 85 and the minarelli are both better then the yd100 its just facts

20k rupees? thats $340CAD , $113 for each bike, not bad, but i can find better deals here locally from private sellers. $100 can get you a lot of used bike. But sometimes not, they sell junkers for $20-$60, but you can buy brand new ones here from Canadian tire for $200, they're absolutely the cheapest junk from china, but they're good while theyre good(supercycle). It should be the chinese moto, its good while its good. Your good time may vary tho.

good on you guys for getting those bikes, I've never seen anything like them.

I think the V Brakes will be an issue, even with my ebike which should be lighter than your gas bikes, braking becomes scary down the most extreme of steep hills, and there are not even any mountains in this area where I live. They need large hydraulic disk brakes like a good mountain bike has.

A front hub drum brake would be the premium choice IMO. I used one of those by Sturmey Archer when I had a gas bike & it stopped on a dime

@@theLyzhendricks I've put well over 3K miles on my KLX125, I bought it used with glitter in the oil and from an owner that never changed the the oil. God knows how much they put on it. 1K miles is nothing for a motorcycle engine, they should last 10K to 15K.
