The railroad is no longer abandoned. It’s been active for rebuilding efforts of Chernobyl. The “nuclear train” is only for rebuilding employees. Plus there are around 30 outposts along the line outside the zone and around 10 inside the zone.

Very good job guys on the draisine! Two small snowploughs in the front would've helped a lot. Stopping right at the road cross, and leaving footprints around was a very bad idea, also using the chainsaw without having to, can draw unnecessary attention. Be more mindful next time. Probably better to turn off the phones ,and only turn on if there's an emergency.

I've been fascinated by chernobyl when I learned about it in school. It's a place I would like to visit someday. Your motorized railcart is awesome. Hope you guys recovered it. In the future hopefully you'll use the cart in future videos riding and exploring other abandoned tracks. Though the USSR is now gone, but since pripyat is a ghost town frozen in time. I just wanted to say good luck comrades as it would have been something said during those times.

For me, my interest in Pripiyat began after I’d gotten 3/4 into Fallout 3 many years ago. Especially after playing FONV. Radiation is such an insidious threat because you can’t perceive it with any senses unless it’s in super high doses. Without the Geiger counter my Lone Wanderer, Courier and later Sole Survivor and Resident would be sick or die. Then there is what radiation does to living things. Horrifying.
