I really appreciate this content. So important breaking down the clean like this. Lightbulb moment for me triple extension and keeping active in the shoulders with the stand. 🙏🏼

All the "wrong" stuff you showed looks like a Larry Wheels log clean.... 😆 Very good tutorial.

Quality content coach! What size log is that? A 12? Would a 10 inch log transfer well to a 12 inch in a comp if I only have a 10 inch to train with? Thanks

This is a 12 inch log, personally I would only ever use a 12 inch log as they are the most common in competitions BUT if you only had a 10 inch log i would just wrap something round the middle to replicate your compeition log. That way you can be specific for the comp, I know people who wrapped yoga mats round the middle to make it 12 inches lol

Unfortunately most competitions use a 12 or 13 inch log! So I based this on the competition spec logs 👌

@@shanejerman3646 I know, always been 12/13 inch when. I have competed.. I did try to buy a 12/13 but unfortunately a thin one was all I could get. I'm told that a thinner log is harder to clean but easier to press?

@@naturalstrongman81 just wrap it with a bunch of carpet or cardboard or a hiking mat, and then cover that with gaff, a few layers should get you up to 12”
