19:33 good question lil quebecian, it's called pan-arabism and was popular towards the tail end of the ottoman rule in the area, given it's socialist tendancies that transcend the sectarian division between Shia and Sunni Muslims which promote greater cooperation between Arabs that obviously makes it a target for the USA wanting to destabilise a potential united growing power in the world where they can plant military bases

US and Europe would die for Africa and Middle East to never be stable.

I've always been surprised that none of the big countries (US, Russia, China, etc...) haven't just gone in and full-on invaded and taken over countries like Djibouti. Yes, i know it would be costly initially. But surely the long-term payoff would be worth it? All these problems could be solved very quickly.

dw it's not an insult it's normal for most people but are you either really young or new to these topics? tldr military occupation is highly ineffective, which a lot people don't get since brute force *seems* like the "simple" solution to things usually reasons being -people hate you -you have to pay lots of money to bring your stuff there -you have to pay lots of money to keep it there -people will try to break your stuff because they hate you -it's bad for your reputation so other countries will be taking note -if the people hate you then they don't really want to work with you so you have to either pay people more or do things yourself basically the old european style imperialism really only worked for a while because there was such a huge tech gap between them and everyone else, making other countries either get crushed or more cooperative, both being because eu just had more tech and money it's the reason why countries like the us follow a "small and temporary" type of military presence now (temporary meaning only that there is some kind of objective at play and not simply a land grab) far simpler to just put a little bit of money everywhere *just in case* something happens but not having to take on the actual responsibilities of the countries they are in, while also getting more reach to more strategic areas

Calm the fuck down, buddy. Not all people from former French colonies speak 1st rate French. Also, according to Wikipedia "French and Arabic are its two official languages, Afar and Somali are national languages" so his first or native language is probably Somali or Afar and not French --- he was just likely well educated enough to learn French along side these (hence the quality of his French is remarkable because it is a marker of his class or learning). Not to mention all of xQc's viewers know that he's a retard but that's part of why we watch him so there's that too🤦‍♂

He's saying "de" as "deux". How are you going to correct someone when you can't even pronounce it yourself 💀

  • @vincemarenger7122

No, he isn't ??? He is pronouncing "de" with the vowel [ ø̞ ]. "Deux", on the other hand, uses an entirely different vowel [ ø ]... In a lot of places in Europe, "de" and "deux" ARE pronounced exactly the same, so idk why you're offended in the first place... Anyway, his point was not to pronounce "de" like "dé", which is definitely way off.
