What I assume happened is that the mental toll of taking numeours 911 calls over the years broke her and lost her her empathy. Its a sad case but I assume she met with the family and they realised this too. Its not right and I blame the police for not making sure all the operators are mentally sound as that job does break people. Still messed up and not right however I assume that to be the case rather then her getting the job while already being mentally messed up. not defending just stating what I think happened.

That 911 call has really fucked me up. Like, there a far more gruesome ones, but I just feel awful for the poor woman. She seems so nice as well. RIP.

yeah that was the worst one for me. there was also a similar one in a similar video, maybe by the same dude, where an old lady was trapped in a house fire while her family was out and the 911 operator had the same lack of care, not nearly as rude, but just as awful for the woman. it even got to the point where you hear her screaming, really tough to watch. apparently the fire department was also just outside dealing with a nearby fire in the woods rather than saving her.

Ye thats probably Organtrade, very popular in China. The state does it to their own people, and they did it to the Uigurs too. Just because they say "all organs were there" doesnt mean its true. After a certain failed rocket launch in china, they completely wiped out a small town with 1-2k people, and said about 17 people died and some injured.

Hu Xinyu was found dead 3 month later, even though the police searched "everywhere" (But not the warehouse 5mn from the school apparently...), and it was by hanging himself with shoelaces... How convenient. He also knew somehow the cameras blindspots and for some reason the recordings at that time were deleted. Let's not forget the other disappearances... I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this is weird...

Man, that last story is so sad. I can’t imagine knowing I’m about to die in a flood and the person I’m trying to ask for help is being rude because it’s their last shift. Hope she never feels happiness again and gets that same treatment one day.

That last video made me legitimately so upset and angry, I should not have continued watching the video. Feel like I'm going to be thinking about the this video the rest of the day.

It feels like they just treat dispatchers as customer service, just hire anyone at this point with zero training. I understand that they need to get specific information and multitask, but it is so often that they just don't care and can't be bothered with some calls, sometimes even hanging up on you if it's 'not an emergency'. Working in security industry we have literally no more rights than an average citizen, more often then not they just tell us 'isn't it your job to evict them' 'can you or have you checked the building (after a break in)' like, no, were not gonna enter a building when we don't know how many people are there, whether they are armed or not etc. You're sending 2-4 cars with 4-10 officers, and you expect one guard to do the job?

I took an emergency dispatcher certification course for fun because it counted towards my degree. It wasn't even a requirement to get hired as a dispatcher. You just need a hs diploma or a ged. Any good department or dispatch system won't hire you without a cert and some previous experience though. This is also in some redneck ass area in the south. It's not like the best of the best flock to the area and compete for a job at Hillybillyville, Arkansas...

blood tests are an incredibly common way to check levels of things like iron in your blood, if somethings off with that then they can see that very easily and get help with that if someone has maybe too high or too little amounts of certain things. as for the school doing that, for one it seems that he was living on campus so maybe thats part of it i dont know, but it also seems like chinese schools commonly do annual health examinations.
